inZOI v0.10.0: vacations, diving suit exploration and surfing — the guide to the 5 accommodations and 3 restaurants delivered on September 3, 2026
In brief
inZOI v0.10.0 launches on September 3, 2026 with a complete vacation system featuring named reservations, two major water activities (scuba diving and surfing), and five new accommodations plus three restaurants. Heads up: scuba diving requires a rented or purchased wetsuit, and restaurant service has strict requirements for luxury establishments.
Krafton rolled out update v0.10.0 for inZOI on Thursday, September 3, 2026, after two delays. The patch notes carry this date and identify three builds: 20260902.14983.W (Windows, Steam), 20260902.14985.M (Mac, Steam), and 5.4.72 (0.296.95) / 20260902.14984.M (Mac App Store). They are published in French, both on Steam and on the official website.
Our three previous articles described this update before it existed. Here is what it actually delivers, with the official French labels — and a correction we owe you.
Vacations: named reservation, activities based on address, checkout at 12 pm
This is the big feature of v0.10.0. Zois "can go on vacation to different cities by choosing who to travel with, which accommodation to stay in, and how long the vacation will last." Three decisions before departure.
Once there, the room isn't a shared set piece: "upon check-in, access to the room is strictly reserved for the Zois who made the reservation," and food can be delivered there. The stay remains flexible — Zois can "extend, modify, or shorten" it — but ends at a fixed time: "checkout is at 12 pm." The notes make no reference to real-world time: it's the in-game clock that applies, and that's our interpretation, not a clarification from the publisher.
Activities depend on the address: "the private spa, a barbecue evening, or a private dinner by the beach, depending on where they are staying." In Cahaya, the Central Market has been reworked and now hosts a new social event called the "Night Market." The city's regional holidays also join the calendar, with notifications.
The technical point to know before booking fits in one line: "while on vacation, a new save file will be created to avoid restricting access to the previous save in the Zoi's home city." A stay is therefore not played within the current save but alongside it, and Krafton does not explain what happens to the two files upon return.

Scuba diving and surfing: the correction we owe our readers
The right word first. On August 12, while covering the announcement of this update, we wrote "free diving." That was wrong. The French notes say: "a diving suit designed for this purpose can be rented or purchased to enable scuba diving." The English version of the same document says "scuba diving." So this is not freediving, and the equipment can be rented or bought.
Two rules govern it. On the reward side: "exclusive resources and treasures can be recovered underwater and added to collections." On the restriction side: "low energy, hunger, or sleep levels prevent the Zoi from scuba diving." No numerical thresholds are given.
Surfing goes through the inventory: surfboards "can be purchased at the surf shop." Two Personal Interactions address this — "get on the surfboard," "when in swimming position," then "go surfing" "in a deeper area of the ocean," which launches "a mini-game where the Zoi must stay balanced using the directional keys." No duration, score, or reward has been published.
Five accommodations, three restaurants, and three properties with basements
The new properties arrive via build mode. The patch notes list them in groups, with the city given in parentheses after the last name in each group; we're reading that parenthetical as covering the entire group, though the text doesn't state this explicitly.
| City | Accommodations | Restaurant | Property with basement floors |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dowon | Dream Stay, Grand Haven | Sodam Family | Villa Mugunghwa |
| Bliss Bay | Sunset Backpackers, Golden Coast | Ora Oro | 1011 Willow Lane |
| Cahaya | Sri Lestari Hostel | Nana's Goreng | Bumi Indah Residence |
The translation of these names follows no consistent rule: Dream Stay and Sunset Backpackers remain in English while Sodam Family and "1011 Willow Lane" are localized.
| Element | v0.10.0 value |
|---|---|
| Buildable basement floors (private residential) | up to 3 |
| Maximum floors on public property | raised to 29 (certain properties excluded) |
| Interaction objects added | 17 in build mode, 60 in public |
| Textures added | 85 |
| Presets added | 2 (Watervilla Guesthouse, villa lounge with garden view) |
One feature disappears in the process, dispatched in five words: "AI Construction has been removed." No justification, no announced replacement.

Dining gets table service — with an already-acknowledged flaw
"A complete dining experience has been added to restaurants," the notes summarize, laying out the sequence: you enter "with a group," you're seated at a table, Zois "will be able to place an order from the menu," "ordered dishes will be prepared by the chef and brought to the table by the server," then they "pay the bill." And crucially: "this new system allows you to manage a Zoi's restaurant business."
One constraint is explicit: "for luxury restaurants, operations cannot begin until all required furniture has been placed." Elsewhere, missing furniture only triggers a notification. Also added are the ability to hire Zois with no prior relationship, a candidate ranking "in descending order of required skill level," and Role Presets, with each part-time employee receiving "half the operating hours."
A warning is warranted, and it doesn't come from the French patch notes. The known issues list published on September 3 notes that an enabled Smart Zoi can prevent a luxury restaurant from functioning properly; the workaround is to manually cancel the interaction the forum calls "Watch the Counter." We're quoting the English here: this list only exists in that language.
Cooking, meanwhile, becomes risky: "leaving a cooking area unattended can cause a fire," and using appliances "reduces their durability over time." No figures are given.
Two documentation pitfalls, and what's still missing
First pitfall: the Steam announcement "September Known Issues," published in French sixteen minutes after the patch notes, links to a forum where this list and the bug fix list only exist in English.
Second pitfall: the vocabulary shifts within a single document. The place of stay is called "accommodation" when it needs to be booked, then "resort" when listing its activities; it's the same establishment, and the English version uses only one word. Another slip: what the community called "Smart Zoi" is now written "intelligent Zoi" in the French notes.
Finally, the "Business" section only covers staff, revenue sorted by category, and mandatory furniture. The venue system expected by part of the playerbase — which the studio refers to in English as the "venue system," with no French version published to date — appears nowhere.
In practice
- Fill your needs before diving in: low energy, hunger, or sleep blocks scuba diving. The wetsuit can be rented or bought.
- Buy the board at the surf shop first: without it in the inventory, the two personal interactions have no reason to occur.
- Book the room with the Zois who need access to it: others will be excluded.
- Schedule the last day's plans for the morning, since checkout falls at 12 PM.
- For a luxury restaurant, place all required furniture before starting operations; if service gets stuck, turn off Smart Zoi and manually cancel the counter-tending interaction.
v0.10.0 delivers on its two most visible promises — traveling and getting into the water — and provides the table service that managers were waiting for. What remains are its blind spots: a parallel save whose lifecycle isn't explained, a surfing minigame with no published data whatsoever, and documentation that switches to English as soon as you look for bugs.

Key takeaways
- Vacations play out in a separate temporary save file, with automatic departure at 12 p.m. game time and activities that vary based on your chosen destination.
- Scuba diving requires a wetsuit and proper stats (energy, hunger, sleep); surfing launches from inventory and triggers a balance mini-game.
- Five new accommodations and three new restaurants expand the catalog, with luxury restaurants locked until all required furniture is placed.
- AI Construction disappears without explanation or replacement, while the establishment system players have been waiting for remains absent.
- A documentation gotcha: known issues from September 3 are only published in English, despite a French-language Steam announcement.
