Halloween: The Game

Illfonic is back at it with a new asymmetrical multiplayer game built around the Halloween license, Halloween: The Game. This time, it's Michael Myers himself who serves as the figurehead, with gameplay blending horror, survival, action and stealth against groups of survivors hunted through the streets of Haddonfield.

The studio knows the territory: it's the one that already delivered Friday the 13th: The Game, a genre reference for a whole generation of horror gamers. Halloween: The Game visibly picks up this proven formula of an overpowered killer against a handful of hiding survivors, but with the mythology specific to John Carpenter's slasher.

A project clearly aimed at fans of competitive asymmetrical multiplayer and nostalgics of the cult film, more than a scripted single-player experience.
