In brief

The sixth and final DC quest series arrives on August 18 and disappears on the 20th — you have two days to complete 24 quests (or 6 series of 4) before the season change. The rewards? Seven free cosmetics and up to 360,000 XP, including the Zap Umbrella, which requires all six series to be completed.

The sixth and final DC quest series of the summer, the one that unlocks the free glider, only arrived this Tuesday, August 18. And "Frenzied Collection" closes tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19: Chapter 7 Season 4 kicks off on Thursday the 20th. That leaves you two days of play, not one more.

The trap is structural. The six series unlock one after another: you have to complete four quests from one series before the next one opens up. A player who hasn't touched anything since July 16 can't just settle for the last four quests — they have to knock out twenty-four, four per series, before the switchover.

The good news: each tier of four quests gives its own reward, and the fastest objectives can be cleared in a handful of matches. Here's the full list and the order to follow.

Seven free rewards, and only one requires all six series

The cosmetics all belong to the "Gotham City Summer" set; the names below are those from the English client. Only the banner icon has no published name; we describe it instead of inventing one.

Each quest rewards 10,000 XP. The bare minimum of twenty-four quests is thus worth 240,000 XP, and the full thirty-six give 360,000 XP toward the Battle Pass. At this point in the season, that's the best hourly return available in-game.

Batman is on the beach southeast of Wonkeeland, and he unlocks half the objectives

Three series send you to the same NPC. The Batman (Summer Body) outfit is stationed on the beach southeast of Wonkeeland: talk to him to start the first quest (ask him about his vacation), come back later to "check in on him," and it's from him that you buy the Batman Grapnel Gun needed for the 250-meter movement objective.

The Wonkeeland Ferris wheel is boarded with a single interaction, and Catwoman is on the beach just south of the same POI: challenging her to a duel completes an objective and gives good odds of getting a Batman Wrap, which is itself required by two quests in the final series. Chaining these three objectives in the same match saves two matches.

The four fastest quests in each series

You only need four quests out of six per set. Might as well pick the least time-consuming ones.

  • 1st set: thank the bus driver (a tap on the directional pad while getting off), catch a fish, drink six shield potions, talk to Batman. The thirty headshots stack across multiple matches and count against NPCs.
  • 2nd set: land at Duck Coast or Sizzling Canal, search three safes or cash registers, hire a specialist (350 gold bars), travel 500 meters in the air. In Zero Build, a cliff jump with glider redeploy is enough.
  • 3rd set: stay on grass for sixty seconds, swim one hundred meters, get back to 100 health and 100 shield three times, deal one hundred damage from a bush. These four can all be done without ever running into an opponent.
  • 4th set: ride the Ferris wheel at Wonkeeland, challenge Catwoman to a duel, destroy fifty objects, do a dance near Batman. The sixth quest in this set has an obscure title whose exact objective isn't documented anywhere: skip it, four is enough.
  • 5th set: search twenty chests, check three dumpsters or portable toilets, go back to see Batman, travel 250 meters with the grapple gun.
  • 6th set: hit fifteen opponents from less than ten meters away, pick up ten weapons from eliminated players, deal 250 damage right after taking damage, survive to 75 eliminations during a nighttime match. Night falls roughly every nine minutes.

The order to follow if you're starting from scratch this Tuesday

Since the sets unlock in a cascade, the order isn't negotiable. A well-planned match can complete three to four objectives at once, provided you prepare for them:

  1. Match 1: land at Wonkeeland. Thank the driver, talk to Batman, fish, drink shields. The first set falls almost entirely into place.
  2. Match 2: Duck Coast or Sizzling Canal. Cash registers, specialist, 500 meters in the air.
  3. Match 3: edge of the map, somewhere quiet. Grass, swimming, healing, bush — the third set wraps up without any combat.
  4. Match 4: back to Wonkeeland. Ferris wheel, duel against Catwoman (with the Batman spirit on the line), destroying objects, dancing near Batman.
  5. Match 5: chests, dumpsters, grapple gun bought from Batman.
  6. Matches 6 and 7: the last set, the most aggressive one. Aim for a nighttime match for the 75-elimination objective.

Count on seven to eight matches if everything goes smoothly, more if the combat objectives drag on. It's doable in one evening, not in three matches.

What disappears with the season

The event quests have been available since July 16 and stop with the season. Once the switch to Chapter 7 Season 4 happens on Thursday, August 20, unfinished objectives can't be caught up on, and neither can unclaimed rewards.

One detail not to confuse: the summer DC outfits — Batman (Summer Body), Catwoman (Coastal), Ivy (Verdant), Harley (High Seas) — are paid shop items and have nothing to do with the quests. What you're playing for this Tuesday are seven free cosmetics and 360,000 XP. The rest is a purchase.

Will you complete all 24 quests for the Zap Umbrella before August 20?

Frequently asked questions

Why can I only complete the last quest series?
Because the six series unlock one after another: you have to finish four quests in one series to access the next. If you hadn't done anything before August 18, you're forced to chain 24 quests to collect all the rewards.
How long does it take to get the Zap Umbrella?
Expect seven to eight matches if you tackle the objectives strategically, so a solid evening's work. The combat quests in the sixth series are the longest; for the one requiring 75 eliminations at night, aim for a match where nightfall hits (roughly every nine minutes).
Are the Batman, Catwoman, and other outfits free with the quests?
No. The summer DC outfits are paid Item Shop items, unrelated to the quests. The seven free cosmetics include a loading screen, a back bling, an emoticon, a spray, a pickaxe, and a glider — but not the outfits.
What happens if I don't finish in time?
The quests disappear for good after August 20 with the season change. There's no catching up: unfinished objectives and unclaimed rewards are lost.
What's the best route to optimize my time?
Land at Wonkeeland first to chain Batman, the ferris wheel, Catwoman, and related quests (match 1). Then head to Duck Coast or Sizzle Canal for the cash registers (match 2). Next, a quiet area for swimming and grass (match 3). Back to Wonkeeland to finish series 4 (match 4). Finally, chests and dumpsters for series 5 (match 5), and the last two matches on the more aggressive series 6.

Key takeaways

  • The six series unlock in a cascade: you need four quests to open a new one, forcing latecomers to chain 24 of them in two days.
  • Each tier of four quests unlocks its own reward, from a simple loading screen to the Epic spray Sea Knight.
  • The Zap Umbrella can only be obtained by completing all 24 quests — no shortcuts, but the XP payout (240,000 minimum) is the best of the season.
  • Batman on Wonkeeland beach unlocks half of the objectives and concentrates three quick quests into a single match.
  • The quests disappear for good after August 20: no catch-up, no exceptions, unfinished objectives are lost.
