Once Human Global Heat: the event's five parts, and the only tier that affects your gear
In brief
Global Heat brings together five operations launched with version 3.0.4 of Once Human: a collective Heat Points pot, a daily check-in with cosmetics, challenges with friends, and above all Returning Rewards, the only track that offers legendary gear blueprints to players coming back after an absence.
While attention was focused on the console launch on August 25, version 3.0.4 of Once Human launched a set of five operations gathered under a single name: Global Heat. The first is a collective goal: the patch notes state that players "across all platforms work together" to accumulate points in a single, shared pool.
It has been open since August 25 at 11:00 AM Pacific time, that is 8:00 PM Central European Summer Time. A clarification right away: Starry Studio has not published a closing date for Global Heat. We won't invent one; keep an eye on the in-game event page.
A note on sourcing. Starry Studio stopped publishing French-language releases in 2025, so this guide is built directly on the English patch notes for 3.0.4. All item, currency and system names below are the publisher's own English labels.
The five components, and what each one requires
| Component | What it requires | What it rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Global Heat | Accumulate Heat Points with all players, across all platforms | Starchrom, Stardust Secret Crate: S14 (epic), the limited vehicle skin Pyro Dino |
| Bonus Check-in | Log in and check in every day | Stardust Secret Crate: S14 (legendary), Lightforge Ingot, and on day 7 the epic cosmetic Azure Glint - Blade |
| Surprise Egg | Invite friends and stay active to accumulate attempts to hatch the Magic Egg | Shiny Mod Selection Crate, epic cosmetics Iron Fist Lord and Azure Glint - Heavy Weapon |
| Play with Friends | Play with company — the revamped Gather Friends event | Epic cosmetics Crimson Alert and Loyal Guardian Headwear |
| Returning Rewards | Return after an absence | A store coupon, a legendary equipment blueprint of your choice, an Anomaly selection crate |
Three of these five components — Surprise Egg, Play with Friends, Returning Rewards — rely on other players. This fits the timing: the console launch brought in a fresh population, and the event is built so that veteran players go seek them out.

Bonus Check-in: day seven is the one not to miss
The daily check-in hands out regular batches — S14 crates at legendary quality, Lingots Luminis — but the announcement singles out one reward: "on the seventh day, a grand exclusive prize awaits you", the epic cosmetic Azure Glint - Blade.
The consequence is arithmetic: seven check-ins are required. If you plan to follow Global Heat through to the end, the one thing not to miss is this streak. A daily login, even a brief one, is enough — checking in doesn't require actually playing.
Returning Rewards: the only branch that impacts gear
The first four branches mainly pay out cosmetics and currency. The fifth is different, and it's the one you should flag to a friend who's stepped away from the game.
The exclusive bundle reserved for returning players contains three elements, in the terms of the announcement:
- A shop coupon: 100 off purchases over 200 — the announcement doesn't specify which currency.
- A legendary gear blueprint selection — three powerful weapon sets, one of which to choose.
- An Anomaly selection crate.
The second point is the only one in all of Global Heat that affects combat power. A returning player therefore has no reason to rush into content before claiming this bundle: they could end up gearing up twice.
Custom servers gain host powers
Less visible than Global Heat, but structurally important for communities: 3.0.4 adds two privileges for the host of a custom server.
- Share their position in the chat channel. Other players click on the coordinates to teleport there. This is a community event tool, not a convenience feature: it lets you gather an entire server with a single click.
- Delete a member's territory. A heavy-handed power, to be used with caution — the announcement mentions no confirmation step or recourse.
Also added: in-game explanations on how to use host privileges, custom server events, and the internal shop, an entry point to the official website from the server settings, and shortcuts to all custom server functions in the mobile menu.
One Prismverse Clash server per week, on Saturdays
Last calendar item, and a recurring one: to make the Prismverse Clash scenario easier to access, the studio announced it will open a server every Saturday at 8:00 AM server time. With one caveat: "if the number of sign-ups is too high, we will open additional servers".
For a PvP scenario, regularity matters as much as content: it lets you schedule a group's start on a date known well in advance rather than waiting for an announcement.
Three things to do this week
- Check in every day — seven days in a row is the only requirement for the Bonus Check-in grand prize.
- Give a heads-up to players who've stepped away before they come back: the Returning Rewards bundle contains a legendary gear blueprint of their choice, and it's best claimed before gearing up.
- Don't plan anything around an end date: Starry Studio hasn't published one for Global Heat. Check the in-game event page before planning your final milestones.
