Starry Studio is a development studio belonging to the Chinese video game giant NetEase Games, based in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hangzhou. It is a relatively recent studio that has specialized in open-world multiplayer experiences. In July 2024, they launched their flagship title, "Once Human", a free post-apocalyptic survival game, an open-world MMO blending horror, crafting and combat against deviant creatures set against a backdrop of contaminated land. Starry Studio is also preparing a completely different, ambitious project with "Eternaland", which is currently in development. They benefit from NetEase's financial and logistical support to conquer international markets.
