Crimson Desert Enhanced adds five dubbing languages, free for everyone
In brief
Pearl Abyss is rolling out Crimson Desert Enhanced, a major free update that finally adds voice acting in French and four other languages, along with enriched narrative cutscenes. Five months after launch, the game becomes fully playable with French voice-over, accompanied by a 20% discount on all platforms until September 9th.
Pearl Abyss rolled out update 2.00.00 for Crimson Desert on August 25, renamed Crimson Desert Enhanced. It adds voice acting in German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese, plus an interface and subtitles in Arabic. Five months after its March 19 release, five more territories can finally play it fully voiced in their own language.
Pywel is a narrative playground where characters talk while walking, riding, and even in the middle of combat: reading subtitles meant looking away from the scenery with every line — which is exactly what this update sets out to fix.

Free, and not just for the voices
The official statement is clear: "This update is provided free of charge to all owners of the game, on all platforms." It brings together everything released since launch and adds cutscenes and narrative sequences to the main quest. Enough to make it worth returning to even after finishing the adventure.
The patch notes also add eight skills for Kliff and a new currency, the "Abyssal Link." Your learned skills will be reset on first launch, with Abyssal Artifacts refunded.
The patch is live on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Epic Games Store; the Mac App Store is still waiting its turn. The language pack can be downloaded from the store, then via Menu → Others → Settings → Language and Audio.
The game at -20% until September 9
Pearl Abyss is also launching its first simultaneous promotion across all platforms: -20%, bringing the price to €55.99 instead of €69.99 on Steam. The end time varies depending on the store and region.
