AION 2: the French notice for the Founder's Packs finally lists their contents item by item — the list of all three tiers

NC reopened on Tuesday, August 18 at 5:00 p.m. PT (Wednesday, August 19 at 2:00 a.m. Paris time) French notice No. 50000074, the product page for AION 2's Founder's Packs. Its title now bears the mention "Updated on 08/18 at 5:00 p.m. PT". What the document adds is a "Content Details" table that goes down to the level of item and quantity, whereas the descriptions published until now stopped at the name of the chests.

The context is familiar to our readers, and can be summed up in two lines. We reported on August 13 that all three tiers include 30 days of subscription, including packs already paid for; the product page for this subscription, sold separately for $15.00, was detailed here on August 21. What was missing from the file was the actual content of the packs.

The French Steam announcement from July 22 did name the chests and appearances for each tier, but for "the full list of content" it referred readers to the store and the official website. That list now exists, and it makes it possible to compare line by line what each tier contains.

What the [Changes] block says

The revised notice opens with a single-line [Changes] box: "A subscription has been added to the content included in the Founder's Pack, along with all the information regarding its usefulness, available features, and important points to know." This is the only indication of what has changed, and in practice it covers two additions: the subscription line in all three tiers, and the detailed table that follows.

The content of the three tiers, as written in the notice

The prices below are the publisher's, with its caveat: "All prices are listed in dollars." The notice does not publish any price in euros.

The purchase framework has not changed: one Pack per account, on PURPLE or on Steam, and the sale runs "from July 22, 2026, 3:00 p.m. CEST, until the end of the early access period." For anyone tempted to buy two, note No. 3 is explicit: "purchasing more than one Pack does not grant you additional benefits."

An identical chest across all three tiers

The Daeva Expedition Supply Chest (bound) is the only content that will have an impact on the early hours of gameplay. Its name had been circulating since July, but not its content. The notice describes it as containing "resources to ease the start of your progression", and it is strictly identical in the standard tier as in the ultimate one:

• Return Scroll, Courage Scroll, Sprint Scroll, Protection Scroll and Shock Absorption Scroll (bound), x10 each;
• HP Potion (bound) x100, HP Elixir (bound) x50, Healing Potion (bound) x30;
• Power Shard (bound) x10,000;
• Resurrection Spirit Stone (bound) x5.

Fifty scrolls, one hundred and eighty healing consumables and five resurrections: enough to get through a leveling stretch, not enough to build a lasting lead.

"Bound": the word that decides what you can actually do with these items

Gravé — gravée, gravés, gravées depending on the item — is the term chosen by the French localization for what English-language MMOs call bound. It appears behind almost every line of the table, and the "Sale/Deletion/Storage" column shows the same series for each: X / X / X.

Two practical consequences worth keeping in mind before paying. Nothing a pack contains will feed into the Marketplace: these items don't amount to a resellable starting capital, and the same note No. 3 specifies that they "cannot be traded with other players." Second, a bound item can't be stored in the warehouse either: it stays on the character who received it, which is noticeable with a seven-piece appearance set.

What the price gap actually buys

Since the supply chest, the title, the five-day head start and the subscription are common to all three tiers, everything that separates the standard tier, priced at $24.99, from the ultimate at $99.99 — with the deluxe sitting at $49.99 — comes down to appearance. The notice states it in note No. 6: the title, the two sets, the weapon skin, the Black Dragon companion and the wings "are purely cosmetic and grant no additional advantage."

The details of these sets appeared nowhere before August 18. Awakening Daeva, reserved for the deluxe and ultimate tiers, has seven pieces: Chestplate, Greaves, Helmet, Shoulder Guards, Gloves, Boots and Cape. Aria of Moonlight, exclusive to the ultimate tier, has six — the shoulder guards are missing. The Daeva Styling Chest, also reserved for the ultimate tier, contains a Customization Ticket and an Appearance Change Ticket: 7 days.

A document still in motion

Notice No. 50000074 went online on July 22 and was reopened on August 18. It is today the only French-language text that goes down to item-level detail, and its [Changes] block the only place where NC flags what it has just modified there. As long as the sale runs, this is the page to re-read before paying, rather than a store listing. The labels it gives are the ones buyers will find in their inventory on September 30, when early access opens.
