Warframe Water Wars 2026: farming Nakak's Pearls, alert schedule and what to buy
In brief
The 2026 Water Fashion Wars require 9,876 Nakak Pearls to clear out Nakak's entire offer, but the event only hands out 1,475 in fixed rewards. The rest has to be farmed via the infinitely replayable Mission 4, which yields around 80 pearls per five-minute run. Digital Extremes has lightened the grind compared to previous years, bringing the whole thing down to about ten hours spread over thirty-three days.
Water Battles are back in Warframe as of August 4, and the beach arena stays open until September 8. Five weeks sounds generous. In practice, Nakak's shop in Cetus demands 9,876 Nakak Pearls to clear out its entire exclusive stock, while the event's guaranteed rewards barely bring in 1,475. Everything else has to be farmed by hand, one five-minute match at a time.
Digital Extremes did significantly soften the 2026 edition, though. The July 13 hotfix 43.0.8 dropped glyph prices from 175 to 30 pearls, sped up Soaktron projectiles, gave the Noodletron increased attack speed during Water Fashion alerts, and lowered enemy levels to compensate. The grind wall is lower than in previous years, provided you know where to put your matches.
Here's the full plan: what each alert actually pays out, how to turn Mission 4 into a pearl-farming machine, and in what order to spend at Nakak's so nothing goes to waste when it all closes.
Accessing the event
Only two conditions: having completed the quest Vor's Prize and unlocked Cetus. In other words, any account that's cleared the tutorial and set foot on the Plains of Eidolon can take part. From Navigation, Water Battles missions can be found under the Event tab.
No loadout prep is needed, and that's the whole point of the format: the arena is a zone where only water ammo is allowed. No Mods, no Powers, no Companions, no Arcanes, no Archon Shards. A three-day-old account and a ten-year veteran walk in with exactly the same gear.
The arena rules, plainly put
- Format: a reworked Rathuum, Tenno versus Grineer. Five minutes on the clock, and the team with the most eliminations at the end wins — no race to 25 points like in a classic Rathuum.
- Soaktron: the automatic water gun, 20 rounds per magazine and 200 in reserve. Hitting the reload key while the cursor passes between the white brackets speeds up the process. Its projectiles have traveled faster since July, which changes a lot at mid-range.
- Noodletron: the foam hammer. Holding the melee key launches it forward like a thrown weapon.
- Lob Blobs: water balloons, collectible in sets of three at certain stations marked with a red balloon. They explode on impact over a wide radius and instantly kill any Executioner caught in the blast. You lose them when you die.
- Stats: 100 health points, no shields, and slow regeneration equivalent to a single passive healing mod. The Executioners, for their part, have neither shields nor armor.
- Map: a single beach that follows the Plains of Eidolon's day/night cycle. The night version features campfires that damage you on contact — a classic trap in the middle of a slide.
The alert schedule through September 8
Four main alerts serve as the throughline. They aren't validated by time spent but by reaching a personal score target, which explains why the fourth one demands noticeably more matches than the first.
| Alert | Score required | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Alert 1 | 25 points | Kela De Thaym Community Glyph + 50,000 credits + 25 pearls |
| Alert 2 | 50 points | Rusalka Community Glyph + 50,000 credits + 50 pearls |
| Alert 3 | 100 points | Erra Community Glyph + 50,000 credits + 75 pearls |
| Alert 4 (bonus) | 200 points | Executor Garesh Community Glyph + 50,000 credits + 100 pearls |
The Dawn's Domestik Drone, meanwhile, doesn't need to be earned: simply logging in once during the event is enough to receive it via in-game mail.

Alongside these, five weekly Aquatic Fury Alerts run on the Star Chart, each offering 175 Nakak Pearls and 50,000 credits. They're played with your usual Warframe, but with primary and secondary weapons locked, melee being replaced by the Noodletron.
| Period | Mission | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| August 6 – 10 | Defense (Uranus) | 175 pearls + 50,000 credits |
| August 13 – 17 | Extermination (Venus) | 175 pearls + 50,000 credits |
| August 20 – 24 | Interception (Jupiter) | 175 pearls + 50,000 credits |
| August 27 – 31 | Survival (Sedna) | 175 pearls + 50,000 credits |
| September 3 – 7 | Sabotage (Pluto) | 175 pearls + 50,000 credits |
Each of these windows coincides with a Double Affinity Weekend. It's the perfect time to bring out unranked weapons and Warframes: you earn your 175 pearls and your ranks in the same window. A sixth alert, worth 350 pearls and 50,000 credits, has also been added outside the calendar—more on that below.
The real pearl engine: replaying Mission 4
The fixed rewards cap out quickly. 25 + 50 + 75 + 100 for the four main alerts, 5 × 175 for the Aquatic Fury alerts, plus 350 for the extra alert: 1,475 pearls, once and for all.
Everything else comes from a single source, Mission 4, which can be replayed endlessly. Each run yields a base 30 pearls, plus 2 pearls per personal kill and 1 pearl per assist—the inclusion of assists is what made this farm bearable once it was implemented. A decent run, around twenty kills and a dozen assists, therefore yields roughly 80 pearls in five minutes. A very good run exceeds 100.
The math writes itself: there are still 8,401 pearls needed to complete the exclusive catalog, or 90 to 110 runs. Counting six to seven minutes per cycle including loading times and squad formation, that comes out to about ten hours spread over the remaining thirty-three days—around twenty minutes a day. Nothing insurmountable, but nothing you can catch up on in the final week either.
A clarification to avoid disappointment: neither resource Boosters nor loot chance Boosters increase Nakak Pearl gains.
Five habits that change your score
- Jump kicks knock down Executors. A grounded enemy is a stationary target, and the kick itself already deals damage.
- Waypoint the beacons that respawn Lob Blobs. Three well-placed balloons are worth about thirty seconds of Soaktron fire.
- Enemies rushing you from the other end of the arena advance in a straight line: that's exactly when the Soaktron's slow projectiles never miss.
- A few passive bonuses escape the general deactivation. Amalgam Barrel Diffusion always grants its dodge speed, Amalgam Serration its sprint speed, and the Praedos its parkour speed if the Evolved Ascension evolution is selected. The True Master's Font blessing, meanwhile, genuinely increases Soaktron and Lob Blob damage.
- At night, systematically avoid the campfires: a burn on 100 health is a quarter of the bar for nothing.
The Sirius & Orion exploit, and why to avoid public matchmaking
A very real bug has been plaguing the event since its launch: Sirius & Orion manages to use items from the Gear wheel in Water Fight missions, including the Archgun deployer. An arena meant to allow only water guns thus ends up with a heavy weapon in it, and the player in question grabs almost all the eliminations in the match. Mechanically, everyone else ends up with a score — and therefore a Pearl payout — close to zero.
Digital Extremes has acknowledged the issue, publicly asked players not to abuse it in public matchmaking, and added the sixth alert worth 350 Nakak Pearls as compensation. The fix is expected with the August 12 update, the same one that also brings the Nightwave Series mix: Amir's Shockwave. Until then, farming in a closed squad with friends remains the most reliable way to protect your score.
What to buy from Nakak, and in what order
Buy the Dog Days Ephemera on your very first mission. It costs 1 Pearl and it's the only truly seasonal item in the shop: it leaves your inventory once the event ends, but buying it now costs you nothing at all. The Soaker Ephemera at 490 Pearls, on the other hand, is a permanent acquisition.
Next comes the only question that really matters: the 2026 new items, the ones you couldn't own last year.
- Dax of the Dawn Syandana — 350 Pearls
- Honoria "On This Beach Of An Earth" — 300 Pearls
- Bubonico Dawn Aspect and Kompressa Dawn Aspect — 250 Pearls each
- Magistar Dawn Aspect — 200 Pearls
- Dawn Sugatra (Daman) — 180 Pearls
That's 1,530 Pearls for the entire vintage: give or take a few matches, the event's fixed rewards are enough to get everything. If there's only one thing you should do this summer, it's this.

The best Pearl-to-item ratio remains the 30-Pearl glyphs since the July hotfix: the dozen available in the shop cost 360 Pearls total, versus over 2,000 before the price cut. The big-ticket items, to save for last, are the three Captura scenes and the Soaker Ephemera, at 490 Pearls each — nearly 2,000 Pearls for all four.
Finally, two categories should be ignored until everything else has been bought, because they are not exclusive to the event: the nine Executioner mods (140 pearls each, 1,260 total) and the three Furax Wraith components (120 pearls each, 360 total). These 1,620 pearls correspond to items the game distributes elsewhere all year round. Buying them here means converting beach time into something you would have gotten for free.
| Category | Unit price |
|---|---|
| Dog Days Ephemera (seasonal) | 1 pearl |
| Glyphs | 30 pearls |
| Palette extensions (beach, swamp) | 50 pearls |
| Emblems | 75 pearls |
| Noggle statues and Executioner mods | 140 pearls |
| Sigils, posters and displays | 175 pearls |
| Kavat and Kubrow Floofs | 195 pearls |
| Redeemer skins (Abysso, Pyrus) | 225 pearls |
| Roller Floofs | 230 pearls |
| Dog Days Flow Emote | 250 pearls |
| Noodletron hammer skin, Athari Liset skin | 280 pearls |
| Soaktron rifle skin | 340 pearls |
| Syandanas (Dax of the Dawn, Samia Towsun) | 350 pearls |
| Captura scenes, Soaker Ephemera | 490 pearls |
One last free detail: a Water Wars glyph is sold for 1 credit in the seasonal tab of the in-game Market. The rest of that tab is paid for in platinum — Rollers palette extension for 75, Executioner Noggle statues at 35 each, Noggle pack at 240 — and so has no bearing on your pearls.
The plan for the remaining month
In order: complete the four main alerts today, buy the Dog Days Ephemera for 1 pearl, then schedule one Rathuum Water Frenzy per week. A single mission for 175 pearls is by far the best time-to-pearl ratio in the event, and it always lands on a Double Affinity Weekend — your weapon ranks progress while you cash in.
The rest of the budget is built up in Mission 4, about twenty minutes a day, preferably in a private squad until the August 12 patch is deployed. The last Water Frenzy ends on September 7 and the arena closes the next day. After that, you'll have to wait until summer 2027: Water Wars only comes back once a year, and glyph prices will never drop below 30 pearls again.
