Digital Extremes
About
Digital Extremes, founded by James Schmalz in 1993, is a Canadian studio based in London, Ontario, with over thirty years of experience in game creation. The studio was first noticed with Epic Pinball, before making its mark on the Unreal series in collaboration with Epic Games, then worked on projects like Dark Sector and The Darkness 2. Its name is now associated with Warframe, a free-to-play shooter that has become emblematic of the games-as-a-service approach, backed by frequent updates and a more than active community.
