Palia: The 32 Player Titles from the Official Table — and Why the Game Calls for 50

In brief

Palia introduced Player Titles in update 0.206, a social decoration system displayed under your name. The official chart publishes 32 titles spread across skills, login streaks, and civic projects, but the publisher implicitly acknowledges the list is incomplete — at least six titles are missing to reach the 50 required by the title The Entitled.

The 0.206 "Fall's Faire: Petals & Portraits" update for Palia, released on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 4:35 PM UTC (6:35 PM in Paris, that's our conversion), introduced Player Titles: a label that now sits beneath your name in-game.

Singularity 6 published the list in patch notes that do genuinely exist in French. The table has 32 rows, which we reproduce in full below, reorganized by unlock source. Two warnings before we dive in: no title name is translated by the publisher, and the published list is not complete — the studio itself provides the proof of this, without ever stating it.

What the system actually changes

The display first: "Titles appear under your player name and let you show off your accomplishments." This is social decoration: no line in the notes assigns them any in-game bonus.

Next, an immediate practical consequence: "Like name plates, titles are saved with your saved outfits, so you can pick the perfect title for every style." The title is a piece of the outfit, not a global setting: switching presets changes the displayed title.

Finally, the system is retroactive, which explains the titles that appeared for veteran players with no visible reason: "Already meet the requirements? No worries: your titles will be awarded to you automatically!"

The 16 skill titles, and the two empty cells

Palia has nine skills, and the table plans for one title at level 50 and another at level 100. That should give 18 rows. There are only 16.

SkillTitle at Tier 50Title at Tier 100
FishingKing of the Ocean / Ruler of the Ocean / Queen of the Ocean
Bug CatchingBuggin' OutKeeper of the Swarm
MiningHeavy MetalLord of the Underground / Ruler of the Underground / Lady of the Underground
ForagingLocal CryptidGuardian of the Wilds
HuntingSharpshooterMaster of the Hunt / Captain of the Hunt / Mistress of the Hunt
GardeningGreen ThumbLord of the Loam / Sovereign of the Loam / Lady of the Loam
CookingGourmandFive Star Chef
Furniture CraftingCraftyMaster of Crafts
FarmingFather of Beasts / Guardian of Beasts / Mother of Beasts

The two dashes are not an omission on our part: in the table published by Singularity 6, Fishing and Farming have no title at Tier 50. The studio does not explain this asymmetry.

A point about vocabulary, since it wastes time. Three rows in the official table don't use the name the French client displays: the 0.206 notes write "Minage," "Capture d'insectes," and "Fabrication de meubles," whereas the French Steam achievements — text drawn from the game itself — say Extraction, Chasse aux insectes, and Menuiserie. These are the same skills. We use the client's labels: the discrepancy comes from the publisher.

The 16 other titles in the official table

These don't depend on any skill. The right-hand column reproduces the publisher's French wording word for word.

The series of five login titles is the only one that requires neither skill, nor money, nor contribution: Getting Into It at seven days, then 30, 90, 180, and finally The True Palian at 365 days in a row. The patch notes specify neither what breaks the streak, nor whether there's any leeway, nor whether the counter goes back before 0.206.

Two titles have an expiration date without a date. Deckhand and The Harbormaster are obtained "by contributing to the Community Project: Docks before its completion," meaning until the day the community finishes the construction — we detailed their thresholds on August 27th. The three other docks-related titles go through the project's progression track, with no date limit.

Two entries remain unclear. Has the Midas Touch requires "reaching the gold cap": the patch notes give no figure, neither in French nor in English. And Part of the Pack requires friendship level 4 with Taylin, whose first four levels arrive with this update: a brand-new title, not a retroactive one.

Three titles in French in the text, none in the table

Here's the trap that will send players searching for nothing. The introductory sentence of the French patch notes gives three examples of titles, and it gives them translated: "Les titres apparaissent sous votre nom de joueur et permettent d'afficher vos accomplissements, que vous soyez 'Main verte', 'Matelot', 'Ami des animaux' ou l'un des nombreux autres titres à découvrir !"

Yet the table that follows, on the same page, contains none of these three labels. The English version of the same announcement cites, in the same spot, Green Thumb, Deckhand, and Animal Whisperer: Singularity 6 therefore knows how it renders the first two in French, and doesn't apply it in its own table.

We found no official French-language page showing what the client actually displays under the player's name. We will therefore not make a call, and we are not translating any of these 32 names. If you're looking for "Main verte" in an in-game list, there's no guarantee you'll find it there.

"Obtain 50 titles": the official list is incomplete, and it's demonstrable

The most interesting line in the table is the most discreet one. The condition for The Entitled is three words long: "Obtain 50 titles." The published table lists 32.

One could argue that six lines offer variants — King / Ruler / Queen of the Ocean and five others on the same model. By breaking them down into three labels each, we arrive at 44 distinct names: this is our own count, not a figure from the publisher, and it remains below 50. At least six titles are therefore missing — and 18 if a player can only hold one variant per line, which the patch notes don't specify.

The direct proof lies in one name: Animal Whisperer, cited as an example by the publisher in its own introduction, appears nowhere in the 32 lines. The studio in fact states it plainly: "Many existing achievements, quests, and milestones now grant titles, and we've added even more to unlock." The table therefore only shows the new titles, not the full inventory of the system.

One last clue, without certainty: 0.206 also adds "new achievements for friendship level 4 with Ulfe, the Gardener, Subira, and Taylin," while the table only counts a single friendship title, that of Taylin.

What to remember

The official table amounts to 32 lines: 16 skill titles, 5 connection titles, 5 related to the docks, 2 purchasable with Visitor Tickets, and 4 miscellaneous. Everything is retroactive, and the title is saved along with the outfit.

The only time-sensitive titles are the two tied to the docks construction, which disappear once it's completed. The five connection titles are the easiest to earn and take the longest to finish: a year for the last one. As for the 50 titles claimed by The Entitled, the single published list isn't enough to reach that number.

Frequently asked questions

Do titles grant gameplay bonuses?
No, it's purely cosmetic. Titles appear under your name to display your accomplishments, but none provide mechanical or statistical bonuses.
Are titles retroactive?
Yes. If you already met the requirements before 0.206, your titles were awarded to you automatically — which explains why some veterans had them without knowing.
Why does the official chart only have 32 titles if The Entitled requires 50?
The publisher implicitly admits the list is incomplete. The studio cites Animal Whisperer as an example in its introduction, but that title doesn't appear in the chart. Several titles also come from existing achievements, quests, and accomplishments that Singularity 6 doesn't detail.
What if I don't have Fishing or Cooking at level 50?
That's normal: the official chart doesn't provide any title at that tier for these two skills. The asymmetry is never explained by the studio, so it's either intentional or an undocumented choice.
Will Deckhand and The Harbormaster titles disappear soon?
They will disappear once the community completes the Docks civic project. These are the only titles with a true expiration date, making them relatively urgent.

Key takeaways

  • Titles are purely cosmetic and grant no gameplay bonuses, but they register with your outfits to change according to your presets.
  • Two titles have an expiration date: Deckhand and The Harbormaster disappear once the Docks civic project is completed.
  • The official list of 32 titles is incomplete: the studio itself cites one (Animal Whisperer) that doesn't appear in it, and at least 50 are needed to unlock The Entitled.
  • The five login titles are free but require up to 365 consecutive days online for The True Palian.
  • Title names are never translated in the chart, even though the French introduction offers three translated versions — which can create confusion in-game.
