Palia 0.206: two Civic Project: Docks titles disappear the day the community finishes the construction — 10 and 400 points to score before then

Singularity 6 rolled out the 0.206 "Fall's Faire: Petals & Portraits" update for Palia on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Our article from August 22 detailed the roadmap; here's what's actually in it, and above all the one thing that has a deadline.

That deadline is the Civic Project: Docks — the first game-wide goal Singularity 6 has ever launched. It grants two player titles that will be removed as soon as the community finishes rebuilding the docks. No one, not even the studio, can say when that will happen.

Two titles, ten points, and a project that won't wait for you

The patch notes are explicit:

"Your contributions can also earn you two special Player Titles before construction is complete: one at 10 points and another at 400 points. Once construction is finished, these limited-time titles will no longer be available."

Ten points is trivial: a single donation kit is already worth 1, 2, or 4. If you only do one thing in this update, make it this — talk to Ashura, drop off three or four kits, and the first title is yours. The 400 points, on the other hand, require a real investment, and there's no guarantee the project will stay open long enough.

A note on terminology: Singularity 6's French patch notes leave item names, titles, and house line names in English. We're reproducing them exactly as they appear, rather than inventing a translation the client won't actually display.

How the Civic Project works

The principle: all Palians contribute materials and donation kits, either at the workbenches set up in the area or directly from their plot. Each kit:

• adds 1, 2, or 4 points to the shared progress;
• and earns you Civic Project XP, which is your personal progress.

Kits are crafted using different skills. One point worth noting from the patch notes: "some kits will require specific collections, such as 12 identical Unusual Bugs". So this isn't just a matter of dropping off wood and stone — check the requirement before you sacrifice your stock.

The Moonlit Paths tab trap

Civic Project rewards are displayed in the Moonlit Paths tab. Yet they're not actually part of it:

• it's a separate project;
• it's not necessary to activate it to take part;
• and it survives past the end of construction — EXP keeps accumulating and rewards remain unlockable at your own pace.

That last point is what makes the two titles so unusual: everything else in the project stays accessible after construction ends — except them.

What the project unlocks, in the order that matters

Beyond the titles, Civic Project XP grants recipes for new kitchen decorations, Tailoring Tickets, Treat Bags, Kilima Coins, dyes, and profile icons. Three other titles come from the project track and are not time-limited: Quartermaster, Seafarer, and Lord of the Sea / Sovereign of the Sea / Lady of the Sea.

The most concrete milestone lies elsewhere: the Valhäst is unlocked at level 45 of the Civic Project: Docks.

The Valhäst: a mount that crafts your arrows for you

Long considered a myth, Valhäst are both a mount and a ranch companion. Two effects, and they're more useful than decorative:

• when placed at the ranch, they regularly produce arrows, which quietly takes care of your bow's ammo supply in the background;
• when ridden, they give the whole party a better turning speed — a group bonus, not just a personal one.

Path of the Great Sage: 40 levels, and the Queen Ushindi range

The new Moonlit Path, Path of the Grand Sage, is "one of our biggest Moonlit Paths to date" with 40 reward levels. The Premium upgrade costs 1,975 Palia Coins; the free path remains free.

It's the only source for the 21 recipes of the Queen Ushindi house set (Turret, House, Dormer, Mini Turret, Tiered Post, Column, Stoop, Patio, Fancy Patio, Balustrade, Baluster, Roof Trim, Awning, Gable, Roof Edge, Overhang, Roof Corner, Staircase, Door, Right Stair, Left Stair). It's compatible with existing modules, including those from the Alchemist's Cottage and the Estate.

Don't confuse it with: the 20 Queen Ushindi kitchen decorations (Island, Stool, Cloche, Chandelier, Stove, Stove Hood, Sink, Wall Shelf, Drink Mount, Oven, Mixing Table, Prep Table, Table, Glass Cabinet, Wood Cabinet, Pan Rack, Spice Rack, Chair, Pitcher, Placemat) come from the Civic Project, not from the Moonlit Path. Same set name, two different sources.

The rest of 0.206, in brief

• Taylin — the first four friendship levels arrive, continuing from "The Lion and the Lamb." To keep the chain going for the next update, also level up Ulfe, Hassian, and Sifuu to friendship level 4: level 5 for this family will come later, and a romance has been announced for Taylin and Sifuu.
• Player titles — the system is retroactive: "already met the requirements? Your titles will be granted automatically." The skill milestones at 50 and 100 award most of them, and there's a title called The Entitled for earning 50 of them.
• Free camera — Photo Mode finally takes off, up to 30 meters. Holding Ctrl on PC slows down movement for precise framing; Tab hides the UI. Two filters, Black and White and Golden Hour, can be purchased at the House Tours Shop.
• Bulletin board — Zeki's blueprint, which awards four wallpapers and floors (Rustic Wooden Floor, Red Brick Patio Floor, Rain-spotted Wallpaper, Stripey Wallpaper).

What to do today

1. Talk to Ashura and turn in enough to reach 10 points: the Deckhand title is locked to a construction project that can end without warning.
2. Check the kit requirements before breaking down a stockpile — some require matching collections.
3. Decide whether the 400 points are worth the effort: it's the only content in 0.206 that could become permanently unavailable.
4. No need to rush on the rest: the Civic Project keeps paying out its rewards after the work is finished, and the Path of the Great Sage runs for the whole season.
