Mistfall Hunter Character Slots: How to Unlock More

Mistfall Hunter lets you play multiple characters, and having plenty of options makes all the difference. At the start, it's better to focus your efforts on a single class and a character you enjoy. But very quickly, you'll need to diversify your roster to meet the needs of the teams you'll join. Here's how to get more slots.

How character slots work

At launch, you have three character slots by default. You're free to create characters of different classes or several builds of the same class - whatever suits you. You can switch from one character to another at any time from the login screen.

Unlocking slots via the Gyldenblod Pool

The method is simple: you need to upgrade the Gyldenblod Pool. This pool is mainly linked to your Gyldjar capacity, but each upgrade also grants you additional slots. Here's what each level unlocks:

By bringing the Gyldenblod Pool to level 9, you therefore reach the maximum of 10 character slots (the starting 3 + 7). Be warned: this progression is long and requires fulfilling numerous conditions and gathering increasingly rare materials as you level up.

Should you really multiply your characters?

Having several characters has its advantages, but it's better to focus on two of them at most. Changing your build is actually very easy, since you can reset your talent points at will. Conversely, spreading your resources across too many characters would slow down your progression. Once you've figured out what you enjoy, focus on those characters.
