Genshin Impact 6.7 Phase 2: The Complete Guide to the Raiden Shogun Rerun — Electro-Charged Build, Weapons and Meta Teams (July 2026)
In brief
Genshin 6.7 Phase 2 brings Raiden Shogun back on banner, and she's never been more relevant thanks to the new Anemoconduction... wait, Cryo + Electro reaction called Astroconduction. This guide covers her refreshed role, optimal weapons, artifact build, energy thresholds to hit, and the three meta rotations that make her an essential pivot in the Spiral Abyss.
Phase 2 of Genshin Impact version 6.7 has just kicked off on the servers, and it bears a name that speaks to every Teyvat veteran: Raiden Shogun rerun. The electric Shogun of eternal Inazuma resurfaces between July 22 and August 11, 2026 alongside Columbina, in a patch that has shaken up the meta thanks to the arrival of the Astroconduction reaction (Cryo+Electro). In other words: Raiden's signature kit, already built for versatility, gains a new playground where her electric arcs can finally sync up with frost strikes. This guide covers everything you need to know before burning your Silver Origins: updated role, weapons, artifacts, targeted sub-stats, rotations, the patch's top tier-1 teams, and Constellation trade-offs. The payoff: a Raiden capable of crushing the Spiral Abyss, the Imaginarium Theater, and the Weekly Domains without draining your Original Resin.
Why this rerun is perfectly timed for 6.7
Let's be honest: since Fontaine, the Shogun had been losing ground against Hydro DPS units and the new ultra-mobile on-field profiles. 6.7 changes that. HoYoverse has introduced Astroconduction, a reaction that triggers an enhanced conductive shock between Cryo and Electro, gradually replacing the long-standing Superconduct in elite rotations. The result: secondary Electro carriers — Raiden foremost among them — see their team value jump a notch every time a Cryo support or a frost carrier joins the party. That's exactly the niche the Shogun exploits better than anyone, thanks to her auto-targeting Elemental Burst and her enormous Energy Recharge pool.
Add to that the fact that her banner shares Phase 2 with Columbina — a Fatui Harvester centered on Vaporize — and you get a patch where both headliners lean on the same powerful sub-DPS mechanic. Investing in Raiden today therefore means securing a pillar you can reuse in nearly every meta team this half-year.

Raiden's kit broken down in 2026
The kit's skeleton hasn't changed since version 2.1, but its interaction with the current meta deserves a careful re-read:
- Normal Attack — Origin: three slow polearm strikes. Triggered only during the Burst window.
- Elemental Skill — Transcendence: Baleful Omen: places the Eye of Stormy Judgment, which deals coordinated Electro damage with each ally hit and, above all, increases the power of every character's Burst based on the energy they spend. This is the cornerstone of hyper-burst teams.
- Elemental Burst — Musou Shinsetsu: Raiden draws her ephemeral blade, stacks up the Resolve stat, and unleashes sweeping Electro strikes for seven seconds. Each hit regenerates allies' energy.
- Passive Talent — Enlightened One: converts every point of Energy Recharge above 100% into Electro damage on the Burst. This is what turns the defensive stat into an offensive one and justifies aiming for 250% ER.
In 6.7, the Resolve stat climbs faster when a Cryo ally is present thanks to Astroconduction: each trigger contributes to a small passive elemental power stack, making Raiden an ideal pivot for teams where the Shogun absorbs Electro particle generation and returns the Burst to her allies.
Recommended weapons for the rerun
Raiden's signature weapon, the Engulfing Lightning, remains uncontested S-tier: it stacks ATK% based on Energy Recharge and literally climbs to 80% ATK at R1 when you hit 300% ER. It releases on a weapon banner alongside Columbina's signature — two copies are enough to equip all your major Electro carries for the year. Here's the full breakdown:
| Weapon | Rarity | Role | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engulfing Lightning | 5-star | Signature | Absolute BiS, unique ER→ATK scaling |
| Staff of Homa | 5-star | Hypercarry | Solid if paired with a battery like Sara |
| Calamity Queller | 5-star | Versatile | Good ATK buff, very clean DMG% sub-stat |
| The Catch R5 | Fishable 4-star | F2P BiS | +16% Burst DMG, +6% crit — best free weapon in the game for her |
| Kitain Cross Spear | Craftable 4-star | ER Support | Restores team energy, EM sub-stat useless for Raiden |
| Wavebreaker's Fin | 4-star Serenitea Pot | Alternative | Converts ER into Burst damage, synergizes with her kit |
Verdict: if you're F2P, farm The Catch in Inazuma starting today — it's free, R5 in a week of fishing, and it'll save you from breaking the bank on the weapon banner. Whales will prioritize the signature banner, since the conditional ATK% calculates perfectly in HoYoverse spreadsheets.
Artifacts: Emblem of Severed Fate, the perfect relic
Since her release, Raiden has had a dedicated signature set: the Emblem of Severed Fate, obtained from the "Momiji-Dyed Court" Domain in Inazuma. The two-piece bonus grants +20% Energy Recharge, and more importantly, the four-piece bonus converts 25% of Energy Recharge into Burst DMG (capped at 75% bonus). Combined with her Musou Isshin passive talent, this creates an explosive scaling that's hard to beat.
Targeted main stats:
- Sands: Energy Recharge (mandatory until you reach 250%).
- Goblet: Electro DMG Bonus.
- Circlet: Crit Rate or Crit DMG depending on your ratio (aim for a CR:CD close to 1:2, ideally 70:140).
For sub-stats, the priority order is Energy Recharge > Crit > ATK% > flat ATK. Elemental Mastery brings nothing: Raiden doesn't trigger Vaporize or Melt as a trigger element. For Electro-Charged, she'll act as the auxiliary Electro source while a Cryo battery like Kamisato Ayaka triggers the reaction, so the formula stays unchanged.

Energy Recharge target: exactly how much should you aim for?
This is THE question that keeps coming up. The threshold varies depending on your weapon and team composition:
- With Engulfing Lightning: 260 to 275% ER — beyond that, marginal returns drop and the weapon hits its own cap.
- With The Catch or Kitain: 240 to 255% ER, taking advantage of particle generation from a support Fischl or Yae.
- Electro-Charged comps with a Cryo battery like Rosaria: you can go as low as 220% ER if your Cryo teammates feed you Electro particles through reactions.
The golden rule: your Burst must come back online with every enemy rotation. If you lose even two seconds waiting for energy, your DPS drops by 15 to 20%. It's better to sacrifice a bit of crit to gain a second of offensive window.
2026 rotations: the triple pattern to memorize
Three rotations dominate the current meta depending on the chosen team composition.
Hypercarry rotation (Raiden as main DPS)
- Sara/Zhongli Burst to set up the buffs.
- Bennett Burst (fire field).
- Raiden Elemental Skill E.
- Raiden Q, then chain N1C, N2C, N3C until the end of the seven seconds.
- Switch back to supports while Raiden recovers.
Electro-Charged rotation (Raiden as sub-DPS Electro)
- Rosaria E-Q to lay down a Cryo field.
- Raiden E, then immediate switch.
- Hydro applicator (Xingqiu or Yelan) Q.
- Raiden Q to amplify via Electro-Charged, then switch back to the Cryo carry to reapply Freeze.
Raiden National rotation (historic comp)
- Bennett Q — Xiangling Q — Xingqiu Q.
- Raiden E then Q.
- Normal attacks under Musou no Hitotachi.
- Re-cycle in fifteen seconds, the best DPS/time window in the game.
The Electro-Charged pattern remains trickier to master since it requires precise Cryo/Electro application timing, but it obliterates the single-HP-bar checks of the current Imaginarium Theater.
Phase 2 meta comps
Here are the four most played teams on the Spiral Abyss ladder at the opening of Phase 2:
- Raiden National — Raiden, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett. The timeless comp, two Vaporize reactions per second, no rotation weakness.
- Raiden Hyperbloom — Raiden, Nahida, Xingqiu, Kuki Shinobu. The Dendro Cores triggered by Electro-Charged Bloom sweep everything, further boosted by the new 6.7 Harvest passive.
- Raiden Electro-Charged (new) — Raiden, Wriothesley, Xingqiu/Yelan, Kazuha. Cryo pierces defenses while Raiden triggers Electro-Charged, huge ambient DMG% boost.
- Raiden Freeze pivot — Raiden, Ganyu, Kazuha, Diona. High skill-cap comp that exploits Electro-Charged in staggered windows.
Note that Kazuha remains essential for two comps out of four: his Cryo/Electro RES shred amplifies everyone, including via the new Electro-Charged. If you don't have him, Sucrose or Jean will do, with a slight damage penalty.

Constellations: which ones are worth the Resin from your pulls?
The Shogun's Constellation progression curve is one of the most consistent in the game:
- C1 "Shadowmoth's Fatal Vow": reduces allied Bursts' cooldown by 1 second per hit (max 5 seconds). Huge for hyper-burst comps.
- C2 "Wishbound Suffering": ignores 60% of enemy DEF during Musou no Hitotachi. A convenient DPS boost of over 30% in most scenarios.
- C3 / C5: talent levels, nice to have but optional.
- C4 "Sunder, the Chasm Between Worlds": ATK buff for allies at the end of the Burst, nice as a support pick.
- C6 "Musou Isshin": reduces enemy Electro RES within the Skill's area, turns Raiden into a flat-out broken main DPS. Reserved for collectors.
The sensible stopping point for Welkin/BP players is at C2, where the power-to-Primogem ratio becomes downright excellent. C6, at roughly 15,000 cumulative Primogems, is only justified if Raiden is your main pivot for the year ahead.
Alternatives if you miss the rerun
Missing a rerun is never a catastrophe in Genshin, but for Nightsoul teams, the Shogun checks unique boxes. While waiting for her next appearance, you can replace her with:
- Fischl for the Electro battery function in Hyperbloom teams.
- Yae Miko for off-field sub-DPS, but with a heavier rotation cost.
- Cyno as a main on-field Electro carry, better long-term damage-per-second profile.
None of these three solutions, however, provides the dual role of "battery + damage burst + cooldown reduction at C1" unique to Raiden. That's the main reason to pull her now if you're still missing her: she locks in three slots in your roster.
Wisdom-Reliant Staff and ascension priority
In terms of materials, prepare in advance:
- 168 Handguard's Enkindling Leaves (Crystallines mob in Inazuma).
- 46 Serpent's Eyes (The Rifthound Whopperflower... boss La Signora — wait, boss The Guardian's Tail — Boss: Perpetual Mechanical Array).
- 60 assorted Vajrada Amethysts.
- The Crown of Insight (ongoing Summer Fontaine Fountain... Summertime Odyssey Event) to push Burst to level 10 without having to wait three versions.
Be sure to use your Crown on her Burst rather than her Skill: the DPS return is almost three times higher there. For the Skill, a talent level of 8 is more than enough.
Conclusion: who is this rerun for?
If you're looking for a versatile pillar for the end of the year, capable of carrying hyper-burst rotations, feeding your allies energy, and now exploiting Cryo+Electro Nightsoul synergy, Phase 2 is the right window. Three types of players should jump on this rerun: veterans who missed the first 2.1 window, new post-Natlan players who want a plug-and-play Electro carry, and Nightsoul team collectors eager to test her alongside Wriothesley. Make sure you have 90 guaranteed pulls before launching any batch on the Event Banner — and keep at least one daily pull on standard if you don't have Wolf's Gravestone... if you don't have Engulfing Lightning. Good luck at the Statue of the Seven, and don't forget to spend your daily 180 Original Resin on Vermillion Hereafter: the artifacts you farm now will serve Raiden for the entire next half-year.

Key takeaways
- Raiden explodes in 6.7 thanks to Astroconduction: she becomes the perfect pivot to trigger Cryo+Electro with massively increased power.
- Engulfing Lightning remains the absolute BiS, but The Catch (free, R5 in one week) is enough for F2P players — no need to break the bank.
- Aiming for 250 to 275% ER with a broken Emblem of Severed Fate turns Energy Recharge into pure offense via her Enthralling Blaze passive talent.
- The three dominant rotations are Hypercarry (Sara/Zhongli), Astroconduction (Rosaria/Hydro), and Raiden National — pick based on your roster.
- Every hit from Musou no Hitotachi needs to regenerate enough energy to relaunch the burst without lag, otherwise your DPS drops by 15 to 20%.
