Battlefield 6 Season 4 Weapons: Full List and Unlock Requirements
In brief
Battlefield 6 Season 4 offers three free weapons to unlock via the Battle Pass: the VSSM at level 5 of the Recruit track, the EF88 at level 11 of Benthic Tomb, and the Brod 3 at level 11 of Night Parade. To get them without spending a cent, prioritize daily and weekly challenges over passive XP.
Three new weapons are available right from the launch of Battlefield 6 Season 4. They're all free - no need to buy the premium Battle Pass. But you still need to progress through the reward tracks to get them, and that's where a lot of players end up wasting time unnecessarily.
Which weapons to unlock and where to find them
The Season 4 Battle Pass is split into five distinct tracks. The Recruit track is mandatory: you have to finish it before you can access the other four. Once that's done, you can freely choose the order in which you work through the remaining tracks.
Here's where to find the three weapons currently available:
| Weapon | Type | Battle Pass Track | Level Required |
|---|---|---|---|
| VSSM | DMR | Recruit | Level 5 |
| EF88 | Assault Rifle | Benthic Tomb | Level 11 |
| Brod 3 | Carbine | Night Parade | Level 11 |

The VSSM comes early in the Recruit track - it's your first concrete reward. For the other two, you'll need to reach level 11 in their respective tracks, Benthic Tomb for the EF88 and Night Parade for the Brod 3. The Ancient Wave and Great Fury tracks don't contain any weapons, only cosmetics: not a priority if you just want the arsenal.
Note
Each level in a track costs 10 Battle Pass Points. To unlock all three weapons and nothing else, you'll need 270 points total. Keep that number in mind when planning your grind.
How to earn Battle Pass Points efficiently
There are two main ways to progress: challenges and match XP. Challenges are significantly more efficient in terms of time-to-points ratio.
Weekly challenges are the densest source. Each week, 11 challenges are available, and each one grants Battle Pass Points directly. Concrete example: resupplying 30 teammates in any mode = 5 Battle Pass Points instantly. What's nice here is that weekly challenges stay active for the entire duration of Season 4. No need to panic if you miss a week, you can finish them later.

Daily challenges, on the other hand, should be your absolute top priority. They don't grant Battle Pass Points but 5,000 XP each - and if you don't finish them before the daily reset, they're gone for good. Unlike weeklies, there's no catching up on these. Log in, check the day's challenges, do them first.
Recommended priority order:
- Daily challenges first - limited window, absolute priority
- Weekly challenges next - available all season, but still worth progressing
- Match XP continuously - passive, but it adds up
Maximizing match XP
XP earned at the end of a match also contributes to Battle Pass progression. And no, you don't need to be the top fragger on your team. Reviving teammates, spotting enemies with the Recon class drone, completing objectives: all of that generates just as much XP as chain-killing solo in your corner of the map.

To speed things up further, XP Boosts are available from the mode selection screen on the right side. Select an option in the Battle Pass column to apply the bonus for the stated duration. If you've got several stockpiled, now's the time to spend them rather than let them sit unused.
Should you buy levels with XP tokens?
Technically, yes: 150 XP tokens let you buy a level directly. But honestly, there's not much point here. All three weapons are free, and challenges plus matches are more than enough to reach them before the season ends without spending an extra cent. This option is best reserved for players with an extremely tight schedule and pathological impatience. For everyone else: save your tokens.
Note
A fourth weapon, the Interdictor sniper rifle, will be added in the mid-season update. It's not part of the current Battle Pass yet - we'll cover how to unlock it separately when the time comes.
