In brief

Find the sheep Wooly in Crimson Desert by completing the quest "The Missing Companion" started by Willian near Anvil Hill. After crossing the Nass River and fighting bandits in a camp to the southeast, you'll discover an amusing twist: the sheep you bring back isn't the real Wooly, but Willian adopts it anyway.

In the vast and sometimes confusing world of Crimson Desert, a quest asks you to find Wooly the sheep. This quest, titled "The Missing Companion," begins when Willian, a very young boy near Anvil Hill, realizes that he has lost one of his sheep. Kliff decides to help the child, but he doesn't know that this is not a simple task, as it ties into a more complex plot involving the Greymanes.

The "Missing Companion" quest

This quest is part of a larger story: by helping Willian, Kliff finds himself drawn into the affairs of the Greymanes! To start it, talk to Willian, who explains the situation to you. He needs help finding his missing sheep. But watch out, the path is full of obstacles!

Wooly's location

Wooly is in a bandit camp, southeast of the nearest settlement. To find out the way to Wooly, talk to one of the men near Willian, who will show you the path. Once on horseback, cross the Nass River then head to a camp where Wooly awaits you, but be careful, it's a camp full of bandits...

These enemies should be taken seriously, especially those wielding heavy weapons like large flails or two-handed axes. It's all the more crucial to eliminate these enemies first, as their damage potential is high. To do this, you can interrupt their combos using ranged techniques or certain special skills like Blinding Flash.

Retrieving Wooly and returning to Willian

Once the bandits are defeated, you'll be able to find Wooly in an enclosure within the camp.

Note

This sheep's identity could be called into question, especially because of the meat scraps left behind by the bandits...

Either way, you'll need to retrieve Wooly and return to Willian. Use your mount to make your trip more efficient. Once you arrive, the boy informs you that the sheep you brought back isn't the real Wooly (we did tell you something was fishy...). Disappointed, he still adopts the animal, which closes out the quest.

As a reward, you'll get an inventory expansion and five units of wool, which can be used to upgrade your gear in Crimson Desert.
