Crimson Desert Uncompromising Hero Armor: How to Get the Full Set?

The Uncompromising Hero armor set arrives with Crimson Desert's update 1.13. It consists of five pieces, each obtained in a different way: boss reward, purchase, or challenge completion. No piece is obtained in the same place, so a bit of organization is required.

Summary of the five pieces and how to unlock them

• Uncompromising Hero Helmet - to buy from Thrak in Calphade, for 16.84 silver
• Uncompromising Hero Gloves - Goyen Council challenge: kill 5 enemies at once with one arrow
• Uncompromising Hero Cape - White Crow's Eye challenge: kill 3 hyenas without moving more than 20 meters
• Uncompromising Hero Boots - the missing cart challenge: sell 3 carts to a fence

Good to know: if you had already met the conditions before update 1.13 arrived, the corresponding pieces will show up directly in your Private Storage the next time you launch the game - except for the helmet, which will still need to be bought manually.

Uncompromising Hero Armor - defeat Cassius Morten

This is the piece that takes the longest to unlock. You first need to finish the main quests Blazing Torch, Under the Banners, and Where the Wind Remains. This unlocks The Unyielding Shields, then the side quest A Thousand and One Troops, and finally Traitor - where you face Cassius Morten. In addition to the chestpiece, you also get the Shield of Betrayal as a bonus.

Uncompromising Hero Helmet - Calphade alley shop

Calphade is located northwest of Hernand. The merchant Thrak runs his shop south of the Calphade church. First unlock Cassius Morten (see above) - Thrak only sells the helmet once this prerequisite is met. The price is 16.84 silver.

Uncompromising Hero Gloves - the challenge

The Sealed Abyssal Artifact that triggers this challenge is located just east of Foundry Mist Basin, north of the first "N" of Hernand on the map. The objective: kill 5 enemies simultaneously with one arrow. Simply equip explosive arrows and attack a group of enemies from a distance (goblins can be handy for completing this challenge, as they often move in swarms).

Uncompromising Hero Cape - the stationary hyena hunt

The Artifact is found near Tashkalp, at the intersection just north of the first "A" of Tashkalp on the map. The challenge: kill 3 hyenas without ever moving more than 20 meters.

The best spot is slightly northwest of the Artifact, on the other side of the river - a pack of hyenas roams there permanently. No timer, so take your time. Bow or firearm recommended: the range lets you stay still and chain your shots cleanly.

Boots of the Uncompromising Hero - the stolen carts challenge

The Artifact is located in Calphade, north of the Calphade Torch. The objective: steal 3 carts from NPCs and sell them to a fence.

Three cart fences are available in the game:

• East of the Howling Hill camp (Hernand)
• West of Demeniss, just past the fields
• Southeast of Tashkalp

Steal a cart from NPCs traveling on the roads, drive to the nearest fence, and repeat the operation three times. Nothing complicated, but it takes a bit of patience to find accessible carts.

The set mixes survivability (stacked fire resistance, daze immunity, HP regen) with targeted offensive capabilities. The gloves and boots boost attack - it's a versatile set that rewards players who followed the main progression rather than farming a specific dungeon.
