This guide explains how to enroll your Sim, choose between the University of Britechester and Foxbury Institute, manage their coursework, and turn that diploma into a fast-tracked career.

Britechester or Foxbury: two campuses, two vibes

The new world of Britechester is divided into three distinct neighborhoods, each with its own atmosphere. You don't have to move there to study, but setting up house on campus radically changes your Sim's pace of life.

The University of Britechester

This is the world's historic campus, founded in the lore by a certain Felix Psyded. Classic architecture, a solemn ambiance, and the Darby Dragons as its mascot: everything here breathes Anglo-Saxon tradition. The University of Britechester is renowned for its prestigious programs in arts and humanities — fine art, drama, language and communications, art history, history. An obvious choice for a creatively or intellectually inclined Sim.

Foxbury Institute

Foxbury is the modern campus: sleek lines, laboratories, robotics stations, and carefully landscaped ponds. The institution focuses on training innovative leaders and offers prestigious programs in science and technology — computer science, biology, physics. Ideal for a Sim aiming for a career in science, tech, or engineering.

Gribbs Hills, the neutral neighborhood

Between the two universities, Gribbs Hills serves as common ground: a shared library, the O'Pepper Pub, and above all residential lots for students who prefer renting to dorm life. It's the natural meeting point between the Dragons of Britechester and the innovators of Foxbury.

Both universities offer common degree titles but with different specializations: a prestigious program at Britechester may only be available in standard form at Foxbury, and vice versa. The choice of university therefore directly affects the quality of the diploma.

Enrolling in university: applications, scholarships, and entrance exams

The process starts as early as the teen life stage, which gives you time to build up useful skills before enrolling. In practice, you just need to click on a computer or the mailbox and choose Apply to University. Your Sim sends their application to both institutions at the same time.

A few sim-days later, an acceptance letter arrives in the mailbox. It states:

• which universities have accepted your Sim;
• which degrees are available, in standard or prestigious form, depending on the skills already developed;
• which scholarships have been awarded.

The game offers several scholarship categories: merit-based scholarships tied to skills, academic scholarships linked to school grades, athletic scholarships, and household income-based aid. These cover tuition, housing, textbooks, and supplies. If scholarships aren't enough, a student loan remains an option… but it will need to be paid back once the degree is in hand.

Choosing your degree and courses

Once accepted, you'll open the enrollment window, which lets you decide between:

• the university (Britechester or Foxbury);
• the degree, chosen from among those available;
• the semester's classes, with a weekly class cap;
• housing.

Degrees cover a wide range of disciplines: biology, computer science, physics, psychology, economics, art history, culinary arts, drama, fine art, history, languages and communications, not to mention more unusual paths like Villainy. Each degree comes with its own required courses and elective options, along with a total number of classes to complete in order to graduate.

Two things to keep in mind when choosing:

1. Prerequisite skills: landing a prestigious course of study often requires having already built up certain skills as a teen — Logic for computer science, Painting for fine art, Writing for languages, and so on.
2. Workload pacing: it's best not to overload on classes right from the first semester. A Sim who misses too many assignments will lose their scholarships and quickly drop in the rankings.

Where to live: dorm, organization house, or home?

The pack introduces a real choice in student lifestyle:

• University dorm: your Sim gets an individual room in a shared building. Common areas — kitchen, living room, ping-pong, study rooms — are shared. It's the most affordable and most social option, perfect for meeting other students and spotting organization members.
• Organization house: reserved for members of a club, it brings together the affiliates of the same organization under one roof. Ideal for fully leaning into the roleplay side of campus life.
• Renting in Britechester: the residential lots in Gribbs Hills let you stay in the world without putting up with dorm noise.
• Distance learning: your Sim can also stay in their home world and take classes remotely. Less campus atmosphere, but a stable living situation, handy for Sims already settled with a family.

Living in a dorm significantly speeds up access to student organizations: you run into potential members every day, which makes recruiting them easier when it's time to apply to a club.

Student organizations: joining a club

Each campus is home to three official organizations, plus a seventh hidden one shared by both universities. Joining them unlocks outfits, regular events, exclusive social interactions, and skill bonuses that come in very handy during exams.

Britechester

• The Debate Guild — for Sims who love to argue and want to boost their Charisma.
• The Art Society — focused on creativity, painting, and music.
• The Britechester Spirit Squad — pom-pom-style team spirit, with pep talks and games to host.

Foxbury

• The Bot Squad — the club for robotics and electronics fans.
• The Brainiacs — the institute's academic honor society.
• The Foxbury Spirit Squad — the sporty counterpart on the modern campus.

The Order of Enchantment

The pack's famous secret society, shared between the two universities. It's impossible to find in the club panel: your Sim must first catch the attention of its members by standing out on campus — good grades, nighttime activities, exploring the world's mysterious nooks and crannies. An invitation eventually comes once your Sim has drawn enough notice.

Juggling classes, parties, and student jobs

A sim semester lasts a few in-game days. During this time, your Sim must:

• attend classes (attendance counts toward the final grade);
• turn in assignments on time;
• prepare for exams in three formats: essays to write on the computer, presentations to put together on the new presentation boards, and final exams, whose grade mostly depends on attendance and completed assignments.

Alongside this, the pack adds several part-time student jobs perfectly suited to a tight budget: pizza delivery, barista, library clerk. The hours leave room for classes and help make ends meet when the scholarship doesn't cover everything.

And of course, there's the social life: campus parties, juiced foo (the local sport) matches, and organizing evenings. This is where the investment pays off: by applying to a career related to their degree, your Sim starts several levels higher than usual. A prestigious degree pushes the starting point even further. As a bonus, the pack adds the Engineering career (with its computer science and mechanical branches) and the Education career, both of which directly use the skills developed on campus.
