Quality Wood Crimson Desert: Turnali's Quest

Among the side quests available in Crimson Desert, the “Turnali's Request” quest will let you prove yourself as a lumberjack. Let's see how to go about it!

Turnali's Quest

Turnali, the blacksmith working in the town of Hernand, is looking to recruit a talented lumberjack to help him gather Quality Wood. You'll need to head to the surrounding forests and put your skills to use cutting down trees.

Turnali is in the town of Hernand, identifiable on the map thanks to its icon. Open your map, select quests, and locate the “Turnali's Request” quest icon. Hovering over it gives you access to useful information about the quest. To get there, use the destination button on your controller.

Talking to Turnali and Getting Ready

Once you've reached Turnali, walk up to him and press and hold the appropriate button to hear his request. He'll let you know he needs Quality Wood, and will give you a lumberjack's axe to cut down nearby trees.

Before heading out, don't forget to equip the lumberjack's axe you just received.

Finding the Trees and Chopping Wood

To find trees to chop down, leave town and head southeast. Several trees are likely to provide you with Quality Wood.

Note

Remember that you need to hit the tree several times to get resources.

To chop down a tree, hold down the strike button with your axe. Once you've felled your tree, don't expect to see Quality Wood right away. You'll need to keep hitting the trunk on the ground until you get the resource.

Collecting Wood and Rewards

After you've finished chopping down the tree, you can pick up several pieces of Quality Wood. Keep chopping trees until you've collected the three pieces for Turnali. Once you're done, head back to the blacksmith's workshop.

When Turnali greets you, he's delighted with your success and gives you a Bekker Shield, ten additional pieces of wood, and a Blacksmith's Flyer.

To complete the quest, check the flyer in your inventory, then talk to Turnali again. Ever helpful, he'll help you improve the Bekker Shield's defense by refining it.
