Lithus Crimson Desert: How to Defeat Him

In Crimson Desert, Lithus is a formidable boss, hidden in the southern quarry of the Grace domain. Here we'll look at what strategies to adopt to defeat him, as well as the key steps to liberating the quarry.

Introducing Lithus, the Cubewalker

Lithus is a colossal stone monster, with a fascinating and terrifying cubic shape. He's found here in the southern quarry because of the side quest that first asks you to liberate this area, occupied by dark forces.

Lithus is a stone-type boss, which makes him very resistant to physical damage. His attacks are powerful and can deal heavy damage if you don't take all the necessary precautions.

The key to bringing him down lies in his illuminated cubic head.

Strategies to defeat Lithus

The main tool that will allow you to exploit Lithus's weakness is the Axiom Force. You need to use it to target his illuminated cubic head, then pull it away from the body to make it vulnerable. This is the exact moment when you should deal maximum damage to the body parts that come loose.

Lithus is an opponent not to be underestimated: stay behind rocky structures to protect yourself from his lightning-fast assaults. Wait for one of his attacks to end to seize the opportunity to pull his head, and go all out to hurt him.

Defeating him will grant you a two-handed weapon engraved with runes, and will earn you the Secret of the Abandoned Mine.

Liberating the southern quarry

Bandits are present in the area, and you must eliminate them to advance in the liberation process. Go around the southern quarry looking for the various bandit camps, and use powerful attacks to assert yourself.

Several structures are present in the southern quarry, and destroying them will increase your progress counter: Infirmary, Barracks, Training Ground. These buildings can be destroyed with combined attacks (R1 + R2), or by fire.

Note

Even if you suffer losses, the liberation counter won't reset; you'll be able to keep progressing.
