Crimson Desert Wild Ginseng: The best farming locations
In brief
Wild Ginseng in Crimson Desert is essential for increasing your spirit gauge beyond level 8. Discover the three best farming locations: Silver Wolf Mountain, the Longroot Cave, and the Pailune merchant who offers a simpler alternative after chapter 7.
In Crimson Desert, Wild Ginseng is valuable because it lets you increase your spirit gauge beyond level 8. Here are the locations where you can easily gather it.
Silver Wolf Mountain
To start your quest, Silver Wolf Mountain, southeast of the Abyssal Gate, is particularly well suited for harvesting Wild Ginseng, near an outpost (refer to the map for precise coordinates). Upon arrival, climb the rocks and reach a small outcrop where a few large trees and lavender suggest a bit of a harvest.

As you climb, keep an eye out for the small red stems that indicate Ginseng plants. Although usually only two to three plants are present, each harvest can yield between one and four pieces of Ginseng.

Longueracine
In the Silver Wolf Mountain region, head toward the lands south of Longueracine, marked on the map below. To get there, spot the Abyssal Gate overlooking it from the summit. Look west, which will let you jump toward the desired area.

Once at the bottom, face the mountain you came from, and look for a small cave entrance, identifiable by a large tree standing at the entrance. This area is harder to find because of the dense fog. Go inside, don't advance too far, and follow the path until you reach water. In this cave, you'll discover three Wild Ginseng plants next to a stone lantern.

Pailune Merchant
To avoid manual harvesting, a merchant in the town of Pailune could be your best ally, but to meet him, you need to progress a bit through the main story, meaning past chapter 7, since beforehand the town is under the control of a hostile faction.
Once you reach the end of chapter 7, head to the regional capital of Pailune, located on the northeast side. Outside a large temple where you fought Myurdin, a merchant should be present with a small stall to the right of the main gates.
Note
This merchant offers five units of Wild Ginseng for sale at a price of 1.50 silver coins; merchant stock refreshes every 24 hours.
