Crimson Desert Tomb of Perdition: The Walkthrough
In brief
The Tomb of Perdition is a complex Crimson Desert puzzle based on manipulating golden cubes using the Axiom Force. This guide will help you solve this puzzle step by step to retrieve batteries, activate the mechanisms, and obtain the Abyssal Artifact as a reward.
The Tomb of Perdition is a trial located in the Crimson Desert region in the game of the same name. It's a puzzle that will require you to rack your brains, and this guide will help you save a fair amount of time, should you wish to use it.
What does this puzzle involve?
The Tomb of Perdition uses the Axiom Force, a major feature that lets you manipulate golden cubes. These cubes are essential for entering the rooms and collecting batteries, which will allow you to activate the mechanisms.
The button to activate the Axiom Force is the L3 button on your controller. This changes the yellow color of the dial to blue.
Step-by-step puzzle solution
Start by activating the dial with the Axiom Force. The golden cube on the left, now freed, rotates. Access this cube to pick up the first battery. Bring it back to your starting position, then reactivate the dial to open the cube on the right. Insert the battery into the gap on the wall, and seal it with a Palm Strike (R3).
In the same room, two cylindrical batteries await you. Pick them up and bring them back to the starting point.
Insert one battery in the left room with a Palm Strike on the left wall. Go back with the other battery to the right cube's room. In that cube, look closely and you'll spot another dial. Turning it will rotate the golden cube, revealing the roof. Use the Square + L3 combination to perform a triple jump and reach the other side.
On the roof, carry this battery outside using the Axiom Force. Place it in the connection slot on the ground to the right, and use another Palm Strike to secure it. Then, activate a large dial with a Palm Strike to restore the Abyss.
Rewards
Once the mechanism is activated, you can collect an Abyssal Artifact. Exit through the same path you came in, but turn right to access the Abyssal Door.
