Epidote is a rare ore that you can mine in certain areas of Crimson Desert. This ore is needed to develop your characters' skills and to progress your quests. It is mainly found only in locked areas, which requires progressing through the main story to gain access.

Accessing regions with Epidote

To start mining Epidote, you must first unlock certain regions such as Pailune, Crimson Desert, or Delesyia. These regions are not accessible at the start of the game, which makes obtaining Epidote tricky.

Pailune is one of the first regions you'll unlock by following the main quests. Once the region is accessible, you'll be able to mine Epidote!

Methods for obtaining Epidote

The mining areas are located east and west of the main city of Pailune.

Another way to obtain Epidote is to buy it directly from merchants. They often have Epidote stock available, but at a slightly higher price than normal. Mineral shops can be found in every region, and the first ones you'll unlock are north of the main city of Hernand, in Karin's Quarry.
