In brief

The Balance Gate is a powerful two-handed spear in Crimson Desert, found in the Golden Basement of the Tashkalp region. This weapon features a Barrage effect that increases damage with each successful consecutive hit, and its Abyssal gear can be extracted and implanted onto other weapons.

In Crimson Desert, the Balance Bearer spear is an excellent two-handed staff. Let's see how to get this weapon.

Location of the Balance Bearer spear

The Balance Bearer spear is found in a mysterious underground area, the Golden Basement, located in the Tashkalp region. Start by teleporting to the ruins of the Smoking Lands, near Deadfire Mountain.

Walk east to reach the ruins of the Well of Reflection, at which point the scenery changes and you'll find yourself on rocky terrain replacing the greenery. To gain height, use the Palm Strike to jump higher three times. Once up high, look for a small hatch in the ruins, on red brick walls. Open the hatch and dive into the well to enter the golden basement.

Go down the stairs and avoid the spike traps. Turn left and neutralize the door trap by attacking the rope on the ground. Then enter the chamber and activate the lever to access the secret chamber.

Stat Value
Attack 25
Critical rate Level 1
Attack speed Level 1

The main appeal of the Balance Bearer is its Burst effect, which enhances the damage of consecutive attacks. It shows up as a combo counter displayed on screen, which tallies the hit success rate. The higher it is, the greater the weapon's damage.

Note

Blocked or dodged attacks are not counted.

Extracting the abyssal gear

Another interesting feature of the Balance Bearer is the ability to extract the Burst Abyssal Gear to implant it into other weapons. Weapons with primarily high attack speed will benefit greatly from this gear.

Note

If you implant it into gloves or boots, the combo effect will only be retained in bare-handed combat.
