Warframe: Revenant Prime and Baruuk Prime are back — farming Aya, Regal Aya prices and what to prioritize

Since Thursday, August 6 at 8 p.m. Paris time, Varzia has refreshed her inventory: Revenant Prime and Baruuk Prime come out of the Vault and join Warframe's Prime Resurgence, alongside four weapons — Phantasma Prime, Tatsu Prime, Afuris Prime and Cobra & Crane Prime — and a range of exclusive cosmetics. The rotation follows the usual 28-day cycle, so you have until September 3, 2026 to grab what you're missing.

The essentials first: if you were to go for just one piece, get the Phantasma Prime. Revenant's signature beam rifle stacks status effects like few other Primary Weapons in the game and stays relevant well into high-level content. Right behind it, Revenant Prime remains one of the most comfortable Warframes for surviving anywhere in the Origin System, thanks to its charge-based invulnerability power (Mesmer Skin, name kept in English in the client).

Two paths lead to these Primes: the free route — farming Aya, trading it for Void Relics with Varzia, then opening them in Void Fissures — and instant access via Regal Aya, the program's paid currency. Here's how to optimize each one, and in what order to spend.

What's in the rotation, and the Regal Aya prices

Varzia's shop lists the entire rotation with fixed prices in Regal Aya:

Bundles group together the essentials at a reduced price: the single-Warframe pack costs 6 Regal Aya and adds exclusive glyphs as well as 10,000 Endo, while the Revenant & Baruuk Prime Dual Pack comes to 10 Regal Aya with 50,000 Endo included. The Noggle Prime Statues are not included in these bundles.

The free route: farming Aya and opening Void Relics

Aya is a resource that replaces Vaulted Relics in their usual sources: Void missions and Bounties (Cetus, Fortuna, Deimos), in addition to in-game Relic Packs from the Market and certain Syndicate Offers. In practice, running open-world Bounties remains the most consistent way to accumulate it, since each stage can grant some instead of a Relic.

Once you have your Aya in hand, head to Maroo's Bazaar on Mars to see Dax Varzia — or, more simply, use the "Visit Varzia" option from your Orbiter's Relic console, or the in-game Market. Each intact Relic in the rotation costs 1 Aya, and the shop displays its contents: no need to memorize Relic codes, just target the ones that contain the missing pieces of Revenant Prime, Baruuk Prime, or their weapons.

• Refine before opening: invest Void Traces to boost your chances of getting the rare components, especially the main Blueprints for both Warframes.
• Open as a squad: in a Void Fissure mission, you choose from the rewards of all four players. Four identical Refined Relics are far better than one.
• Plan ahead for the Foundry: budget 12 hours per component, then 72 hours to assemble the Warframe, including Orokin Cells you'll need to have ready. If you're aiming for the end of the rotation, don't start the build on September 2.

One last detail that matters: an item crafted via Relics keeps its Mastery Rank lock, whereas one purchased with Refined Aya bypasses it. Leftover Aya is never wasted: Varzia also exchanges it for Ducats or Void Traces.

Instant access: Refined Aya

Refined Aya is purchased with real money: €17.99 for 3 (with 200 Platinum included), €36.99 for 7 (6 + 1 bonus, 400 Platinum), and €71.99 for 15 (12 + 3 bonus, 1,200 Platinum). Each Warframe or weapon bought this way comes with its inventory slot and a pre-installed Orokin Reactor or Catalyst — a genuine bonus, since these items are otherwise paid for in Platinum.

The real point to watch concerns collectors: the cosmetic accessories are exclusive to Refined Aya. The Aurimus Prime Syandana, Vetala Prime Armor, Vaaditum Prime Ephemera, and Asila Prime Syandana cannot be obtained via Relics; if any of these interest you, now's the time, or you'll have to wait for a future rotation return. Also note that Refined Aya cannot be traded or gifted, and is only refundable as long as it hasn't been spent.

What to prioritize depending on your budget

Phantasma Prime remains the best value-for-price option in the rotation at 2 Refined Aya — or via a few well-targeted Relics. Its status chance makes it a Primary Weapon that works well with any Warframe, far beyond the content of the Star Chart.

Revenant Prime is the priority on the Warframe side. The Prime version has 825 shield and 175 energy compared to 635 and 140 for the base Revenant (health at 270 and armor at 135 unchanged, faster sprint speed): nothing revolutionary, but extra margins on a Warframe already known for being nearly immortal in the right hands.

Baruuk Prime will appeal to melee fans: the reluctant monk mainly gains in durability, with 240 armor compared to 185 and shields raised to 365. His control and fist-damage gameplay hasn't aged a bit, and his Shaoshi Aspect arrives right on August 12 for those who want to give him a fresh look.

Tatsu Prime, Afuris Prime, and Cobra & Crane Prime are more about Mastery and collecting than meta relevance. If your budget is tight, farm these via Relics rather than Refined Aya, and save your Refined Aya for cosmetics that can't be farmed.

Good timing: Affinity Booster Weekends and the August calendar

This rotation falls at the best time of year for leveling up new gear: Digital Extremes is running back-to-back Affinity Booster Weekends on August 6, 13, 20, and 27, then September 3. Plan your Foundry builds so that a freshly assembled weapon is ready by Thursday evening: you'll get it to rank 30 in a single session during the boosted weekend.

The rest of August's calendar fits together naturally: the Battles of Water keep going on Cetus until September 8, and August 12 marks the arrival of Amir's Wave, the new Nightwave season, alongside the Baruuk Shaoshi Collection. In other words, unlocking Baruuk Prime this week means being ready for its Deluxe Aspect the following Wednesday.

As for deadlines, keep two dates in mind: September 3 at 8 p.m. (Paris time) for the end of the rotation at Varzia, and your own Foundry timers — 72 hours for a Warframe, to subtract from the cutoff date. If you're farming Relics, leave yourself a day or two of margin for Void Fissures: a rare part that refuses to drop the day before the next rotation is the classic scenario.

In short: free-to-play players, focus your Bounty rewards on Aya starting this boosted weekend and target Phantasma Prime Relics first; players short on time, the Double Pack at 10 Refined Ayas is the most cost-effective option if you're missing both Warframes; collectors, it's the four exclusive cosmetics that should guide your budget, since those can't be farmed.
