Palworld 1.0: how to use the Ancient Relic Recycler
In brief
The Ancient Relic Recycler is the machine to have in the late game: it turns your dormant relics into valuable resources like Paldium... wait, Paloxite, implants, or Skill Fruits. Unlocked at level 74, it demands a hefty work load and electricity, but once set up, it automatically recycles your ancient finds without any waste.
The Ancient Relic Recycler is a production structure added with the 1.0 update of Palworld. Its role: turn your ancient relics into useful resources, instead of letting them sit in your chests. Here's how it works and how to unlock it.
What the Ancient Relic Recycler is used for
The principle is simple: you place ancient relics (along with World Tree Holy Water) into the machine, which decrypts and refines them into new materials. In exchange, you get Paloxite, implants, manuals, Skill Fruits and many other resources.
It's the ideal tool when you're stockpiling too many relics: instead of selling them for a handful of coins, you convert them into valuable materials, without any waste.

Relic rarity matters
The materials you get depend directly on the rarity of the relic inserted. There are five, from the most common to the most precious:
- Worn Ancient Relic
- Dormant Ancient Relic
- Intact Ancient Relic
- Glowing Ancient Relic
- Radiant Ancient Relic
The rarer the relic, the better the materials it yields. So save your shiniest relics to get the most out of them.
How to get the Ancient Relic Recycler
The Recycler is a Production category technology that unlocks at level 74, for 3 technology points. Building it requires a hefty workload (10,000) and the following materials:
- 30 Ancient Civilization Parts
- 20 Ancient Civilization Cores
- 50 Paloxite Ingots
- 50 Mystic Wood
Needless to say, this is endgame equipment, best reserved for trainers who are already well advanced.

Don't forget: it needs electricity
Crucial point: the Ancient Relic Recycler runs on electricity. Without power, there's no way to operate it. So make sure to build a Generator and assign it a Pal capable of generating electricity.
Note
Once powered and supplied with relics, the Recycler will work for you continuously, methodically turning your ancient finds into precious resources for your endgame projects.
