Palworld Ancient Kitchen: how to get the best cooking station
In brief
The Ancient Kitchen is Palworld's ultimate culinary workstation, capable of preparing any recipe in the game with a speed that far surpasses the classic Cooking Pot. Unlocked at level 70, it requires an electricity-powered base and Pals skilled in Kindling and Handiwork, but rewards the investment in rare materials with impressive productivity.
The Ancient Kitchen is a technology in the Food category added with update 1.0 of Palworld. It's the ultimate cooking station: built on forgotten technology, it can prepare every existing dish as well as completely new recipes. Here's what it's used for and how to unlock it.
What the Ancient Kitchen is used for
Where the classic Cooking Pot is limited to a set catalog of dishes, the Ancient Kitchen can cook any recipe in the game, from a simple soup to endgame dishes. It builds up heat from the flames and then fine-tunes each preparation by hand: meat, vegetables, fish... no ingredient can resist it.
That said, two conditions must be met before you can use it. First, like other ancient technologies, it runs on electricity: without a powered base, it stays inactive. Make sure to have a generator and an electricity-producing Pal nearby. Second, it requires skilled labor: assign it Pals with a high level in Kindling and Handiwork - ideally level 6 in both skills.
In exchange for these requirements, the Ancient Kitchen cooks much faster than an ordinary cooking pot: enough to keep a large base continuously supplied with rations, breeding cakes, or high-bonus dishes without ever running short.

How to get the Ancient Kitchen
The Ancient Kitchen unlocks late in the game: you need to reach level 70 and spend 4 technology points to acquire it in the tech tree.
Crafting it then requires endgame materials:
- 10 Ancient Civilization Cores
- 50 Cryogenic Coolers
- 30 Burning Hearts
- 80 Sorealite Ingots
Needless to say, this is equipment reserved for trainers who are already well advanced, particularly those scouring the Astral Mountains for Sorealite.
