Fortnite Supreme Voyager: where to find this boss

The Supreme Voyager lands on the Fortnite island, and unlike the other bosses this season, it doesn't camp a fixed spot. Good news: it's also the easiest boss to take down in the entire current roster. If you're looking for a quick Mythic early in a match, this is the target to tick off.

Where to find it

The Supreme Voyager spawns at a totally random location on the map, usually right when the second circle sets in. So there's no fixed spot to remember, but Epic has built in a safeguard: it stays permanently marked on the map, no matter where it appears.

Look out for the icon: as long as nobody has engaged it, it shows up as a Cube, with a cube icon on the minimap. As soon as another player starts the fight against it, the icon switches and directly shows the Voyager. Keep an eye on the map during loop 2, that's the signal to follow.

How to beat it

No surprise here: the Supreme Voyager has low health, which makes it the fastest boss to wipe out this season. No need for an extravagant build or a specific loadout, just patience with the timing.

The technique that works: wait for it to generate its cube-shaped shield, then shoot it during that phase. That's when you deal the most damage. During the fight, it will alternate between two attack patterns:

• Cubic projectiles fired directly at you
• Cubes falling from the sky trying to crush you (watch out for the area of effect)
• Sometimes both at once

The most important move: dodge the impact zone of the falling cubes, and keep shooting without interruption. If you get the timing right, you can eliminate it before it even has time to repeatedly spam its projectiles. Basically, if you've already taken down a boss in Fortnite this season, this one shouldn't give you any trouble.

Supreme Voyager drops

The loot more than justifies the detour. On top of dropping a brand-new Mythic weapon, this boss also seems to boost your odds of picking up a special Boss Spirit, like a Gold or Galaxy one. Here's what you get for beating it:

• Supreme Voyager Rifle (Mythic): a boosted version, with a bigger magazine and a faster reload speed
• Boss Spirit (any variant, with increased odds of getting a Special Boss Spirit)
• Self-revive device
• Chug Jug

For a boss this easy to take down, it's clearly one of the best risk/reward ratios of the season. If you spot the cube icon on your map during the second zone, go for it: the Supreme Voyager's Mythic Rifle is well worth the detour, especially if you're playing a late drop where the weapon can make all the difference in the late game.
