Fortnite Spider-Man Power Hours: grab the iconic Web-Shooters!

The Spider-Man Power Hours land this Saturday, August 1st, in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Two two-hour windows, and a good reason to block off your afternoon or evening: the mythic Spider-Man Web-Shooters are making a comeback, in early access before their permanent unlock. In France, the first session will run on August 1st from 8pm to 10pm, and the second on August 2nd from 3am to 5am. Safe to say the first window is the more obvious pick for us!

As for requirements, nothing complicated: you just need to be logged in and playing during the active windows. No quest to unlock beforehand, no minimum level. It's an event open to everyone, in the style of an intensive farm during a limited time.

What changes during the Power Hours

The appeal of Power Hours is that Epic Games temporarily tweaks the loot rules to push players toward a specific item or mechanic. Here, everything revolves around Spider-Man's Web-Shooters and Spirits.

Specifically, here's what changes during the two windows:

• Unlimited Web-Shooters: no more usage limit on Spider-Man's mythic, you can swing between rooftops without keeping count.
• More Spider-Man Chests: the spawn rate of these specific chests goes up across the whole map, meaning more chances to loot themed gear quickly.
• More frequent Spirits: the season's resource appears in greater quantity, making this the ideal window to farm if you're behind on your collection.

Why these Power Hours matter more than the previous ones

Since the start of the season, Power Hours have mainly served to give a boost to Spirit farming. This one changes things: it's the first opportunity to get your hands on Spider-Man's Web-Shooters this season. Once the event ends, the item will be unlocked for the rest of the season - so even if you miss the window, you won't miss out on it for good.
