In Cronos: The New Dawn, the arsenal at your disposal is essential to survive against the terrifying Orphans. The starting pistol won't be enough for long to deal with these bloodthirsty monsters. Fortunately, several powerful weapons are scattered across the corners of the different game zones. Discover the location of each one to maximize your chances of survival!
The MK-1615 pistol: Your starting weapon
The MK-1615 pistol is the Relic you start your adventure with. Basically built, it will serve you to survive during the first hours of gameplay. Get familiar with its mechanics, because even with more powerful weapons, you'll sometimes have to come back to it when you're low on ammo (for maximum stress, even if you've upgraded it!).
The PROV-2030 hammer
The PROV-2030 hammer is a devastating shotgun using shotgun ammo. On the way to the Quarantine Building, once you have discovered the ND-3500 Predecessor and the Emitter capable of manipulating Temporal Anomalies, you will find this weapon in the secure room, along the path leading to the housing project. After this section, a cutscene will show you the Dive Point in the apartment building in the distance.
The PS-3713 dagger
This automatic, unloaded pistol uses standard pistol ammo and is found in the Isolation Zone. You can get your hands on it in the first secure room you encounter after acquiring the Gravitational Boots. With its fast rate of fire, it proves to be an excellent option against agile targets.
The LK-102 javelin
The LK-102 javelin is a burst-fire submachine gun with seeking projectiles, using shotgun shells.
This weapon can only be purchased at the Workstation in the secure room located in the Building torn apart by the Anomaly for a sum of 300 Energy points.
Access to this room is possible after managing to kill the enormous Orpanizou which not only appears in the basement of the apartment building, but also barricades its entrance door from the inside. The ladder in this room leads to a conflict zone where, amid stalls and a Christmas tree, two waves of Orphans appear. The fight only begins when you insert two fuses into the generator and try to leave.
The JER-5120 mace
The JER-5120 mace is a double-barrel shotgun that runs on shotgun shells. To obtain it, you must solve, as you will see in case 2, the puzzle of the two Chalices, in the secure room of the Unity Hospital in Sector A-0, one of them being located in the Administration Director's Office, the other in the Operating Room.
You will need the Access Card (found in the administration area) and code 9509 to access both rooms and retrieve the Chalices. Insert them in the secure room to obtain the Key to the Church's Back Room, which will give you access to this shotgun variant.
The MT-1020 Crossbow
This precision weapon, using specific crossbow bolts, is located in the Station B Outpost. When heading toward the Abbey, in the A-25 sector, after powering the tramway a second time, don't forget to look beyond the shutters upstairs, near the lit Christmas tree. You'll spot the crossbow, in the toy store's display case, behind the tree, but the door is locked.
To reach it, go through the other shutters to the left of the room where the cat is. It's not possible to unlock the place from this side; using the Bolt Cutters, open a passage behind the secure room, followed by the sign indicating Shopping Mall. Eliminate the Orphans in the sector and move to the neighboring room where two large Orphans appear, both of which must be taken down for another Orphan, this one armored, to emerge from a door. Power the generator in the room the armored Orphan came from to gain access to the Kiosk. Make your way, through a passage, into the space above in the powered Kiosk to grab the Toy Store Key, dropped by the cat India.
The REV-1411 Spear
The REV-1411 spear is a triple-burst weapon (with significant recoil) that uses shotgun shells. To obtain it, you need to find the cat Freya when you arrive at the Abbey, the secure room near the Church. She is located inside the Tomb, which requires Bolt Cutters to access. This tomb is located just to the right of the Church entrance and before turning left where Orphan hallucinations linger in the cemetery.
After entering the Tomb, which contains four stone sarcophagi, immediately look to the right to see a hole in the wall you can pass through. Retrieve the Rusty Key from India, then unlock Father Wojciech's Office to the left of the Abbey's secure room (look for a nameplate on the door), take the Bell Tower Key found on the desk, and climb to the Abbey's first floor to be able to unlock the door and obtain the last Relic in Cronos: The New Dawn.
