Big Walk Backpack: Where to Find It

By default, you can only carry one item at a time in Big Walk. It gets frustrating fast when a puzzle requires two pieces and the tower is far away. The backpack solves the problem, and good news: the first one can be found right from the starting area, just past the red bridge.

A trophy drops automatically as soon as you equip it. No complicated steps, just knowing where to look.

Where to find the backpack

Head to the Red Tower once the starting section is complete. Climb to the top of the tower and look off into the distance, in the direction of the yellow maze. You'll spot a blue structure closer to you than the maze itself.

• Climb back down from the Red Tower.
• Walk toward the blue structure you spotted from the top.
• Enter the building: the backpack hangs on a pole, right in the middle.

This is where things get a bit tricky, but not technically - socially. You can't equip the backpack yourself. You need to ask a teammate to grab it and put it on your back. Big Walk is a co-op game down to its most basic details, and this kind of mutual dependency is clearly part of the game's whole vibe.

Once the backpack is on, a white icon appears at the bottom of the screen to confirm you're wearing it. The Big Pack trophy then pops within a second.

What you need to know about the backpack

The backpack doubles your carrying capacity: one item in hand, another stashed in the backpack. Handy for puzzles that require multiple pieces without having to go back and forth to the tower every time.

• You can't take it off or put it back on yourself - only a teammate can do that.
• Storing an item in the backpack is also reserved for your teammates, not you.
• A solid perk: what's stored in the backpack doesn't fall if you take a tumble, unlike whatever you're holding in your hand.

Keep in mind there are several backpacks hidden across the Big Walk map. This one is just the most accessible, the first you'll come across as you progress normally through the adventure. Enough to unlock the trophy without straying from your run and to keep your items safe going forward.
