"Upon entering the lighthouse, more fox statues will be arranged on either side of the room"

How to Start the The Peril of Nature Quest
Head to the Shipwreck Shoal area in the northeast of the Teshio Ridge region. Once you arrive, you'll see a distant dwelling that's currently inaccessible. Nearby, you'll come across two wooden fox sculptures that you can interact with.

First interact with the statue on the left, then the one on the right. This will turn the left fox to the right and the right one to the left, meaning they'll face each other, and you'll discover a rope that lets you climb beyond.
Once you've cleared this first obstacle, you'll find two new fox statues. This time, turn the left statue to the left and the right statue to the right so that their backs face each other; this will unlock access to the wall in front of you.
Once inside: pick up all the available items and pray at the Reflection Altar to receive a free Skill Point. Then, take the scroll on your left in this room. It mentions the Sarufutsu Lighthouse and kicks off the side quest "The Peril of Nature".

Once you've picked up this scroll, go outside and look to your left to spot the Lighthouse in the distance. Call your mount and head toward this imposing structure. Upon entering the lighthouse, more fox statues will be arranged on either side of the room.

For this part of the puzzle, start by manipulating the fox statues on the left so they face each other. You'll then be able to pick up the central statue and place it on the left pedestal.
Repeat the process with the statues on the right to turn them so they face each other. After placing the second statue on its pedestal, the wall in front of you becomes interactive and you can access the Hunting Camp Den.
In this den, there are no enemies, so go ahead without fear. Head down to the cage to free the trapped fox and follow this animal, which will lead you to the Grove Shrine. There you'll meet an NPC who cares for the shrine's animals in distress.
After picking up the available items, approach the deer to the right of the house, which will lead you to the exit. Climb the scaffolding to discover a Reflection Altar and finally leave the area successfully, thus completing the Sarufutsu Lighthouse puzzle from the "The Peril of Nature" quest.
