Roblox Anime Expeditions Gems: how to farm them quickly

In brief

Gems are essential for summoning in Anime Expeditions, but the game offers dozens of methods to accumulate them. Between codes (the fastest source), daily and weekly quests, Story Mode on Hard Mode, and the passive AFK Chamber, there's really plenty to do without spending a single cent.

Gems are the core resource of Anime Expeditions (Roblox): without them, no summoning, no new units. The good news is that the game is fairly generous for those who know where to look. Here are all the available methods, from the most profitable to the most passive.

Codes: the mandatory starting point

First and foremost, use the active codes. It's the fastest and most immediate gain, often several hundred or even thousands of Gems at once. Two ways to access them:

  • Talk to the NPC Razorjaw (Hunter) near the Tournament platform.
  • Click the ... button at the top of the screen, then select Codes.

Codes change regularly. Check our Anime Expeditions codes list, updated regularly, so you don't miss out.

Daily and weekly quests: the basis of regular farming

The Quests menu (orange icon on the left) displays two types of missions. Daily Quests reset every day, Weekly Quests reset every week. What makes this system worthwhile is the completion bonus:

  • Completing all 6 daily quests = 1,000 bonus Gems on top of the individual rewards.
  • Completing all 6 weekly quests = 5,000 bonus Gems on top of the individual rewards.

Note

Over a full week, Weekly Quests easily represent the densest source of Gems outside of codes. Don't overlook them.

Daily calendar: logging in pays off

Every day you log in unlocks rewards via the blue calendar on the right side of the screen. No action required beyond launching the game and clicking. The current track can earn up to 10,000 Gems in total if you log in without interruption. Nothing demanding to do here - it's just a matter of logging in consistently.

Story Mode: the most efficient active farming

Story Mode currently features five maps:

  • School Grounds
  • Flower Forest
  • Rose Kingdom
  • Fairy King Forest
  • King's Tomb

Each map contains five classic stages, plus an Infinite stage and a Mastery stage. And most importantly, you can replay them as many times as you want. The thing to remember: farm exclusively in Hard Mode. It gives more Gems than Normal Mode. If you want to maximize your active hourly output, this is clearly where it happens.

AFK Chamber: Gems while you do something else

Stepping away? Leave your character in the AFK Chamber instead of quitting the game. How to access it:

  • Click Areas in the sidebar.
  • Select AFK Chamber in the Lobby Areas section.
  • Press E to enter.

Stay logged in and let it run. The longer the timer, the bigger the payout. Be careful: if your connection drops, the rewards stop. Make sure to check that the session stays active, especially overnight.

Index, Level Milestones, and Achievements: progression bonuses

These three sources are less spectacular but they add up naturally as you play:

  • Index: every character encountered, boss defeated, or weapon collected unlocks something. Head to Areas to claim the associated Gems. Check regularly.
  • Level Milestones: as you level up, reward tiers unlock. The current cap is level 250, for a total of 6,230 Gems eventually. Claim them in the Areas section.
  • Achievements: accessible via the Quests menu, Achievements tab. Examples of rewarded tasks: completing maps in Hard Mode, summoning Secret units like Shadow, unlocking weapons like the 8th Sword. Goals that are often achieved naturally if you play regularly.

Events: worth grabbing, but don't rely on them

Certain one-off events, such as the Beginner's Path or the Release Calendar (Login Event), offer extra Gems. Honestly, this isn't where you'll build the bulk of your stock - the Beginner's Path barely covers a few summons, and the Release Calendar is time-limited. But if an event is active, complete it systematically - don't leave free Gems on the table.

Frequently asked questions

What's the fastest way to get a lot of Gems?
Active codes, without a doubt. A single redemption can grant you several hundred or thousand Gems at once. You can find them either from the NPC Razorjaw near the Tournament platform, or via the ... button at the top of the screen.
How many Gems can I earn in a week by playing regularly?
From Weekly Quests alone, you'll pocket 5,000 bonus Gems if you complete all 6 tasks. Add in Daily Quests (1,000 bonus per day), the login calendar, and the AFK Chamber: easily 20,000 to 30,000 Gems if you're disciplined about it.
Do I absolutely need to play actively to farm Gems?
No. The AFK Chamber pays you passively as long as you stay connected, the daily calendar only requires a single click, and quests get done naturally. But Story Mode on Hard Mode remains the most profitable method if you have active time to spend.
What happens if my connection drops while I'm in the AFK Chamber?
Rewards stop immediately. Make sure your session stays active, especially if you leave it running overnight — one unlucky disconnect and it's pure wasted time.
Do Achievements and the Index really give Gems?
Yes, but it's more modest than other sources. They add up naturally as you play: completing maps on Hard Mode, summoning Secret units, unlocking weapons — you'll scoop them up with barely any effort if you play regularly.

Key takeaways

  • Codes offer the biggest immediate payout — check them systematically via Razorjaw or the main menu.
  • Completing all 6 weekly quests grants 5,000 bonus Gems, making it the densest source outside of codes over seven days.
  • Story Mode on Hard Mode is the most efficient active farm if you have time to invest.
  • The AFK Chamber lets you rack up passive Gems while you do something else — it's pure gain as long as you stay connected.
  • The daily calendar can reach up to 10,000 Gems over a full cycle just by clicking every day.
