The PokémonXP & Worlds Cloud Island has been open in Pokémon Pokopia since Friday, August 28. Its address is JW7MXKP2, and it recreates the stage of the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, the very one you see in the broadcast from San Francisco.

Except that the official announcement slips in, in a single sentence, the only thing that actually gets in the way: without the mysterious goggles, the address is useless. And those goggles can only be obtained in one very specific case. So the problem has two halves: earning the right to enter, then entering.

The real lock: the mysterious goggles

Around it, the announcement promises the featured Pokémon from PokémonXP and the 2026 World Championships. It also takes care to point out a very concrete detail: make sure you have "plenty of space in your camera album" before you go, as the island is built for photo ops. A full camera album once you're there means a trip for nothing.

The schedule explains the rest. PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships are being held in San Francisco from August 28 to 30, 2026: Friday has already passed, leaving this Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th. The whole appeal of the island lies in this parallel, the real stage on one side of the screen, its copy on Switch 2 on the other. Once Sunday has gone, the connection won't carry the same flavor.
