Pokémon Pokopia Bubbleton Depths: all the DLC recipes

Bubbleton Depths is the underwater region of the Pokopia expansion. It unlocks ten exclusive recipes, but all of them require ingredients that can't be found anywhere else in the game. If you're struggling to understand why your dishes won't unlock, it's probably because you're missing one of the two key ingredients from the zone, or simply the Blender.

Here's the complete list, in the logical order to progress without wasting time.

The 10 recipes of Bubbleton Depths

• Explosive Salad: Leaf + Leaf + Sea Grapes
• Explosive Soup: Fresh Water + Fresh Water + Sea Grapes
• Watermelon Bread: Wheat + Wheat + Watermelon Slice
• Explosive Minced Meat Steak: Bean + Bean + Sea Grapes + Hot Sauce
• Watermelon Smoothie: Watermelon Slice + Watermelon Slice
• Burning Smoothie: Watermelon Slice + Watermelon Slice + Fresh Carrot
• Sea Grape Smoothie: Watermelon Slice + Watermelon Slice + Sea Grapes
• Refreshing Soda Smoothie: Watermelon Slice + Watermelon Slice + Aspear Berry + Soda
• Leppa Smoothie: Watermelon Slice + Watermelon Slice + Leppa Berry
• Perfect Coffee Smoothie: Watermelon Slice + Watermelon Slice + Wooloo Café au Lait + Plain Bread

You'll notice the pattern: the watermelon slice comes up in almost every smoothie. Best to secure it as a priority, or you'll end up going in circles on the other recipes.

How to get watermelon slices

This is the ingredient that takes the longest to unlock, since it requires a small chain of Pokémon to be mobilized. Here's how to do it:

• Unlock Corsola and talk to it about growing watermelons.
• Get Gulpin by building a tall grass habitat or a relaxation habitat in the pool.
• Have Gulpin blow bubbles on the watermelon crops.
• Then bring Corsola back to those same crops so they reach maturity.
• Build the seaweed and nets habitat to unlock Carvanha, the cutting specialist.
• Bring the ripe watermelons to Carvanha, who cuts them into slices ready to cook.

That's a chain involving four different Pokémon. Tedious the first time, but once the habitats are set up, the cycle runs on its own.

How to get sea grapes

Much simpler: sea grapes grow wild all over Bubbleton Depths, you just need to harvest them while exploring. You can also occasionally find their seeds in shops, or by stumbling upon treasure during exploration, and plant them like any other crop to keep a steady stock.

Unlocking the Blender

Without the Blender, most of these recipes remain out of reach - the smoothies in particular all depend on it. To get it: unlock Gulpin, one of the Pokémon exclusive to the region, then progress through the main storyline until you receive the quest asking you to make Smoothies. Once you reach that point, the Blender can be crafted with two Pokémetal.

In practice, you'll need to juggle several Pokémon at once to complete the production chain. The most useful tip here: set up all the habitats tied to Bubbleton Depths as soon as possible, it saves you unnecessary back-and-forth once you're deep into the cooking cycle. Unlocking the Teleportation Portals also helps enormously for moving ingredients around without wasting time between zones.
