Pokémon Pokopia Shells: How to Get Them

In Pokémon Pokopia, shells are essential items for players looking to optimize their gameplay. These unique items allow you to craft shell lamps and other decorative items that beautify your Pokémon's living space.

Shells can only be found in three coastal areas of Pokopia: Bourg Palette, Grisemer, and Ocean Dream Island.

Bourg Palette

Bourg Palette is the first place where you can start collecting shells. To get there, you simply need to cross a damaged bridge to the west of Terrassec. By using a simple floor tile, you can repair the bridge and access this coastal area.

Once you arrive at Bourg Palette, you can wander around and visit the beach to pick up shells on the sand or hidden among the debris. You should search the beach thoroughly, since shells can easily hide in the scenery. Additionally, Bourg Palette offers multiplayer options that let you invite friends and share your discoveries.

Grisemer

Grisemer only becomes accessible once you've reached a certain trainer rank. To do this, you need to complete major quests that allow you to progress in rank. Once you've reached the required rank, you need to go through the area's gate, which leads into the southwest section of Terrassec.

In Grisemer, shells are also found in sandy areas and can be discovered behind debris that must be cleared away with Water-type Pokémon. This action reveals hidden items, so it's well worth taking the time to explore and clean up the beach to maximize your collection.

Ocean Dream Island

Ocean Dream Island is a destination that requires you to own a Pikachu Doll to access it. By giving this doll to Baudrive, you can visit this island only once, which will also allow you to gather shells in its coastal areas.
