In brief

Palworld 1.0 requires a base with a solid electricity supply to run at maximum efficiency. This guide ranks the best Electric Pals — from the gifted Orserk to the frugal Azurmane — based on their production skills and passives, to help you build a fully automated base without any energy bottlenecks.

Keeping a base powered up is essential in Palworld 1.0, especially once you've unlocked the advanced production buildings that run on electricity. Assigning the right Electric Pal changes everything: your production chains, charging stations and other automated facilities run without interruption. But not all Electric-type Pals are equal on the job. Some show a better aptitude for Electricity Generation, others add Transporting, Handiwork or valuable passives. Here's our ranking of the best Electric Pals for a fully automated base.

Orserk, the king of automation

Orserk is widely considered the best Electric Pal in 1.0. Its level 8 Electricity Generation is unmatched, complemented by level 4 Transporting and level 3 Handiwork. It's found in the World Tree region, and since the full release, it's become much harder to breed: an Orserk can only be obtained by crossing... two Orserk. So the only way to get your first one remains capturing it at the World Tree, at the Astral Sphere.

The good news? No matter what food it wolfs down, this beast keeps your Large Generators running at full capacity at all times. Consider installing several Condensers to store the excess energy it produces.

Orserk

Puffolt, the collective booster

Puffolt isn't the champion of raw production (base level 2), but it makes up for it with a remarkable passive: it boosts the Electricity Generation level of every other Pal at the base by +1, through its Crackling Push skill. The overall efficiency gain far outweighs the downside of taking up a slot with a not-so-productive Pal.

Note

By condensing Puffolt, this passive is strengthened and grants even more aptitude to the other Electric Pals. A formidable base synergy that saves you precious upgrade resources.

Dynamoff, the breeding ally

With its level 6 Electricity Generation and a few other useful skills, Dynamoff is a safe bet. Its big selling point: the Electro-Massaging Incubation skill, which reduces egg incubation time by 20% as long as it's at the base - a bonus that climbs up to 40% at skill level 5.

So Dynamoff doesn't just provide stable energy, it also speeds up your entire breeding process. That makes it essential for farming Korallium, which relies on mass-breeding Whalaska and Whalaska Ignis - the electricity it supplies avoids any bottleneck.

Solmora Lux, the aquatic all-rounder

Often mentioned among the best fishing Pals - it can be ridden on water and it improves the chances of catching high-talent aquatic Pals, Solmora Lux also hides real skill as a worker. Its level 6 Electricity Generation and level 4 Watering make it an excellent addition to a production base. Above all, its colossal swimming speed makes it the ideal mount for zipping from one generator to another and recharging them on the fly.

Mossanda Lux, the versatile veteran

A great classic, Mossanda Lux remains a key piece in 1.0, both for base defense and for powering work stations. Its profile is extremely complete: level 4 Electricity Generation, level 4 Transporting, level 3 Handiwork and level 4 Lumbering. When versatility comes first, it delivers.

You can capture it as a field Alpha boss on Eastern Wild Island, or get it by breeding a Mossanda and a Grizzbolt at the Breeding Farm. One downside: its SAN is low, so keep a stock of medicine on hand to counter its bouts of Depression, Ulcers and other ailments.

Azurmane, the economical pick

Surprise: Azurmane is a very efficient Electric Pal. With level 5 Electricity Generation, it keeps your stations running for hours - and above all, it consumes less food than most of its rivals. Where an Orserk gobbles up berries, potatoes, milk and carrots non-stop, investing a few manuals in Azurmane can save you an enormous amount of resources.

You can find it on Feybreak Island, among the field bosses in the southeastern corner of the map. It can also be bred through several crossings, such as Blazamut Ryu + Ophydia, Bellanoir + Lyleen, Blazamut + Starrion Primo, or even Dandilord + Kitsun Noct.

Which Electric Pal will you feature in your 1.0 base?

Frequently asked questions

Why is Orserk the best Electric Pal in Palworld 1.0?
Its level 8 Electricity Generation is unmatched, complemented by level 4 Transporting and level 3 Handiwork. It keeps your Large Generators running at full capacity regardless of its appetite, making it the most effective choice for fully automating a base.
How do you get Orserk since it can only breed with another Orserk?
The only way to get your first Orserk is to capture it at the World Tree, at the Astral Sphere. Once you have two of them, you can breed them together to obtain more.
Which Electric Pal should I choose if I want to breed Pals in bulk?
Dynamoff is your best ally thanks to its Electro-Massage Hatching, which reduces incubation time by 20 percent by default and up to 40 percent at skill level 5. It also provides a stable level 6 Electricity Generation.
Is Puffolt really worth it with only level 2 Electricity Generation?
Absolutely. Its passive increases the Electricity Generation level of every other Electric Pal in the base by +1. The overall efficiency gain far outweighs the drawback of taking up a slot with a low-output Pal, and when condensed, this passive becomes even stronger.
Does Azurmane really consume less food than other Electric Pals?
Yes, unlike Orserk which continuously devours berries, potatoes, milk, and carrots, Azurmane consumes noticeably less while still providing a very respectable level 5 Electricity Generation.

Key takeaways

  • Orserk dominates with an unmatched level 8 Electricity Generation, but can only be obtained by capturing two of them at the World Tree.
  • Puffolt boosts the collective efficiency of all other Electric Pals by +1 through its Sparking Boost skill, making it indispensable despite its low raw output.
  • Dynamoff speeds up your breeding farm thanks to its Electro-Massage Hatching, which reduces incubation time by up to 40 percent.
  • Mossanda Lux remains a versatile classic with four different skills, but suffers from low sanity that requires constant medication.
  • Azurmane surprises with its level 5 energy efficiency while consuming far less food than competitors like Orserk.
