Palworld 1.0 Miasma-proof Membrane: where to get it?
In brief
The Anti-Miasma Membrane can only be obtained from Dandilord, a level 70 boss nestled in the World Tree. The best part? No cooldown: you can refarm this fight endlessly to stack up membranes in a single session.
The Miasma-proof Membrane is one of the most sought-after crafting components in the endgame of Palworld 1.0. Its source is far from obvious: it comes from a single Pal, Dandilion. Here's where to find it and how to chain up farming runs efficiently.
Where the Miasma-proof Membrane comes from
The Miasma-proof Membrane is actually an organ from Dandilion, which it uses to filter its own corrosive mist. Unsurprisingly, you can only obtain it by fighting this Pal.
Dandilion appears in its boss form (level 70) in the World Tree area, in the far north of the map, inside a cave system. Good news: the drop is guaranteed. Each fight yields between 5 and 10 membranes, whether you choose to capture it or defeat it.

Preparing for the fight
Dandilion is still a late-game boss: don't go in empty-handed. Bring along:
- a good quality Sphere, ideally with a capture rate bonus;
- your strongest combat Pal, ideally resistant to its attacks;
- a sturdy shield and plenty of healing items;
- a Ring of Mercy if you plan to capture it, so you don't accidentally finish it off.
The farming method
Once inside the cave, the boss is visible right from the entrance. Bring its health down to the minimum - remember to switch to weaker attacks as its bar approaches zero so you don't kill it too quickly. Then throw a Sphere to capture it, or finish it off: either way, the membranes land in your inventory.
The trick that changes everything
There's no cooldown on this encounter. Leave the combat area, then come right back: Dandilion respawns. You can repeat the loop - lower its HP, capture or defeat it, collect, leave, return - as many times as you like, and build up a nice stock of membranes in a single session. Just make sure you have enough Spheres (about ten for a good stock) and enough room in your inventory.

Capture or defeat?
The Membrane drops either way, but capturing remains the better option. A captured Dandilion can be used, bred or traded, while a defeated Dandilion is lost for good. If you accidentally kill it, don't panic: just pick up the Membrane and start over.
What the Miasma-proof Membrane is used for
Its main use is crafting the Anti-Corrosion Mask: it requires 10 of them, along with 30 Paloxite, a recipe unlocked at technology level 76. This mask grants immunity to toxic gas - exactly what you need to explore... the World Tree safely. The loop closes itself: farming Dandilion equips you to roam its own region.
