How to Access the Sylvan Glade?

Access to the Sylvan Glade is possible right from the start of the game. Entry to this mysterious land is through Bahari Outskirts to the northwest of Bahari Bay, at point B-2 on the map, southwest of Tamala's house. The entry portal is a large opening crossed by intertwined tree roots, so it's easy to spot. All you have to do is cross this passage to enter the Sylvan Glade after a short loading time. If you're already in Kilima, you can walk there or activate one of Bahari Bay's fast travel points to shorten the trip. The closest teleportation point to the Sylvan Glade is "Bahari – The Outskirts".

Although the developers recommend completing certain main quests to better understand the Sylvan Glade's systems, you could explore this area very early in the game. There's no need to have finished all the Temple of the Night Sky collections to get started. However, here are the main quests to complete in order to follow the story:

  • "The Vault of Waves"
  • "The Vault of Flames"
  • "The Vault of Winds"
  • "The Vault of Roots"
  • "Troubled Waters"
  • "Into the Fire"
  • "Into the Air"
  • "Rooted"

If you've already completed these quests, you'll see the Sylvan Glade's opening cutscene as soon as you load a save, which automatically starts the next series of quests: "Answering the Call". Once this mission is completed, another main quest from Subira called "The Sylvan Glade" will lead you to explore this new area to understand what Nai'o is doing there.
