In brief
Grow a Garden welcomes its third summer installment with new codes, brand-new aquatic mutations, and coastal pets to unlock. Four codes remain active as of July 21, 2026 — three cosmetic and only one granting seeds — while the guide covers the basic Sheckles loop, multiplier mutations, and progressive garden optimization.

Grow a Garden has become, within the span of a year, one of the pillars of Roblox. This multiplayer farming game from Do Big Studios continues to attract between 20,000 and 25,000 concurrent players on weekdays, driven by a pace of weekly updates and by owner Jandel's famous "admin abuse" sessions that hand out rare seeds, pets, and weather before every patch. On this July 21, 2026, the Summer Part 3 event "Chest Conquest", launched on the 18th, is reshuffling the deck with new chests to defend, a brand-new aquatic mutation, and three coastal pets to unlock. Here is the full list of active codes as of this date, the detailed redemption process, and a step-by-step guide to building a profitable garden from your very first hours — whether you're starting from scratch or just here to grab the current cosmetics.
Active codes as of July 21, 2026
After cross-checking on ProGameGuides, PCGamesN, Beebom, BloxGuidesGG, Gfinity Esports, and RoCodes, four codes are still holding up this Monday, July 21. Three give cosmetics, and only one still drops seeds. That's not much, but each reward remains useful — especially the Green Bean Seeds, which are hard to get outside of dedicated events.
| Code | Reward | Type | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
RDCAward | RDC Award (exclusive Roblox Developer Conference decoration) | Cosmetic | The most recent, one per account |
BEANORLEAVE10 | Green Bean Chamber (decoration) | Cosmetic | Confirmed across all major sources |
torigate | Whispering Torii Gate (decorative portal) | Cosmetic | Borderline status, test it first |
TEAMGREENBEAN | 3 × Green Bean Seeds | Seeds | The only active non-cosmetic code |
A quick but essential reminder: Roblox is case-sensitive. "RDCAward" is not the same as "rdcaward". If a code is rejected even though it's been copied exactly, it has probably expired overnight — turnover is especially fast during an active event. The torigate code, in particular, still appears active on PCGamesN and RoCodes but is already marked expired elsewhere: test it first before it disappears for good.
How to redeem a code step by step
The process hasn't changed since the interface overhaul in spring. You'll be up and running in under a minute.
- Launch Grow a Garden from the Roblox app (PC, Xbox, iOS, or Android — the feature works the same way on every platform).
- Click the Settings icon (the gear wheel) located in the top-left corner of the screen, once you're in the game.
- Scroll down to the "Redeem Codes" section — it's located below the graphics options.
- Copy and paste the code into the "Type code here…" field, making sure to match the case exactly (uppercase, lowercase, numbers).
- Click the green "Claim" button.
The reward lands instantly in your inventory. Each code can only be used once per account: there's no point trying to redeem it again from another device or after a game reset.
Recently expired codes to stop trying
It's impossible to keep an up-to-date list without pointing out what's just fallen out of use. Here are the codes from recent weeks that should now be ignored:
LUNARGLOW10,LUNARGLOWBIZZY25— Lunar Glow event, spring 2026BIZZYBEES25,BEES10,BUZZINGEVENT20— Bizzy Bees cycle, May 20263BILLION,2BILLION9,MCCULOCK— visit milestones and community managers' anniversariesSUMMERBLOOM,TIDALWAVE,SANDCASTLE— Summer Part 1 and Part 2
Some of these codes are still floating around on outdated French-language sites: don't waste your time copying them down, they'll systematically return an "Invalid Code" error. On the other hand, keep an eye on the official Discord: new codes are announced there before the aggregator sites, often right in the middle of a Saturday-night admin abuse session.
Getting started guide: the Sheckles loop

Credit: Grow a Garden Wiki (fandom)
The gameplay loop of Grow a Garden is brutally simple, yet endlessly optimizable. You plant a seed, water it, wait for it to grow, harvest it, sell it for Sheckles (the main currency), then reinvest in better seeds, pets, and land expansions. Three phases should guide your first few hours.
Phase 1 (0 to 500 Sheckles). Stick to Common. The Strawberry has the fastest growth and the lowest cost — it's your starting cash cow. Follow up with the Carrot (reliable yield, mid cost) then the Tomato (slightly better margin). Above all, don't touch Rare until you've got a 500 Sheckles cushion behind you.
Phase 2 (500 to 5,000 Sheckles). Move on to the Blueberry, very efficient as a passive multiplier, the Watermelon, ideal for stacking mutations thanks to its high unit value, and the Pumpkin, slow to grow but formidable once mutated. This is the real threshold for exiting the early game.
Phase 3 (Summer event). Once you're settled in, turn your attention to the seven Summer 2026 seeds: the Loquat is the most profitable, followed by Pineapple, Avocado, Bell Pepper, Banana, Green Apple, and Cauliflower. They're unlocked via chests, Tide Tokens, and Team Harvest. The Part 3 newcomers — Sea Spray Grass, Beach Fern, Okra, Gilded Grove, and Lagoon Lily — round out the list.
Golden rule to remember: never sell a fruit without a strong mutation on it if you have time to wait for the right weather. Always cash in on your Common crops before moving up in tier, otherwise you'll burn through your savings for nothing.
Mutations: understanding the multiplier

Credit: Grow a Garden Wiki (fandom)
Mutations are the real economic core of Grow a Garden. They're applied randomly depending on the weather, equipped pets, and active abilities, and multiply a fruit's base value. There are two families.
Variants (only one at a time per fruit):
- Silver (×5)
- Gold (×20)
- Rainbow (×50)
Environmental (stackable with each other):
- Wet / Glossy (×2)
- Mossy (×3)
- Sundried / Golden (×4 to ×8)
- Frozen / Frostbite (×5 to ×20)
- Shocked (×100)
- Celestial (×120)
- Voidtouched (×135, current cap)
New for Summer 2026: the Tidal mutation (×6), applied every 3 minutes to 6 fruits by the Tidal Wave pet. It's modest on its own but combines perfectly with the big environmental mutations.
Tip: stay in-game during weather events (Rain, Frost, Golden Hour, Blood Moon). A fruit with 2 to 3 stacked environmental mutations and a Rainbow variant can be worth 10 to 50 times its base value. A Voidtouched Watermelon Rainbow alone can flip an entire session and launch you into the next phase.
Pets: which companions to prioritize
Pets are your passive workforce. You buy eggs from the Pet Shop, hatch them, equip the companion you want and feed it fruits to level it up and unlock its advanced abilities. Each pet brings a dedicated bonus that completely changes the pace of the game.
For a beginner, four choices clearly stand out:
- An auto-watering pet: a huge time saver, essential once you're managing more than 10 plots.
- A growth boost pet: speeds up harvest cycles, with a cumulative effect alongside auto-watering.
- Starfish (Summer 2026): +5 XP per second, the best tool for quickly leveling up your other pets.
- Crab (Summer 2026): earns 260 to 460 Sheckles every 6 minutes passively, without lifting a finger.
Once you're set up, gradually work your way up in rarity. Community eggs (Beach Egg, Coastal Egg) remain your best value for money before moving on to pricier premium gacha.
Summer Event Part 3: Chest Conquest

Credit: Grow a Garden Wiki (fandom)
Launched on July 18, 2026, the third wave of the Summer Event completely reshuffles the meta. Three mechanics structure the week.
High Tide Harvest. Every hour, drop off your fruits carrying the Summer trait or the Tidal mutation at the Sand Castle to rack up Harvest Points. It's the most profitable passive loop of the event, and the one that requires the least coordination.
Team Harvest. A 4-player co-op mode that rolls out 7 daily quests and requires 150,000 Harvest Points per day. Completing 6 out of 7 days unlocks the Lagoon Lily Seed — a goal worth protecting this week, since the seed will disappear from the pool at the end of Part 3.
Chest Conquest. The new feature from July 18: chests spawn on the map every 60 minutes. You have to bring them back to your garden, but other players can knock them out of your hands with a shovel. Four chest rarities, each tied to a different speed penalty. It's chaotic, very profitable, and especially fun in the evening with friends.
Three new pets arrive with this Part 3:
- Sandcastle Crab: converts your mutated fruits into cosmetics on a regular timer.
- Jellyfish: applies — or fails to apply — mutations on fruits and pets. Very risky, very rewarding.
- Hippocampus: nearby XP bonus every 31 minutes, plus faster fruit mutations.
Note: Sheldon the Clam now has a small chance of dropping Hippocampus, offering an alternative to chest farming to get it. As for seeds to watch out for, keep an eye on Sea Spray Grass, Beach Fern, Okra, Gilded Grove and of course Lagoon Lily.
Event shop and Robux bundle
The Tide Token Shop is the event's central trading hub. Three items to prioritize this week:
- Sand Castle Crab: 12 Tide Tokens, the most profitable pet in the shop.
- Tidal Fountain: 70 Tide Tokens, essential for multiplying your chances of a Tidal mutation.
- Okra: 60 Tide Tokens, the most profitable seed in the Part 3 batch.
For players in a hurry, the Beach Bundle is available for around 400 Robux and includes a summer shovel skin, a decorative buoy fence, and three premium coastal eggs. It's not essential, but it's a convenient shortcut for those who don't plan on farming Tide Tokens by hand.
Meta, tools and good habits
Three habits separate profitable gardens from the rest, and none of them cost a single euro.
Log in before updates. Jandel regularly spawns exclusive seeds, pets and weather in the hour before each patch — typically Saturday at 7:30 PM UTC. One hour of presence that day is often worth several days of classic farming.
Use community calculators. Crop Value Calculator, Mutation Calculator, Trade Calculator, Pet Weight Calculator: they help you avoid getting scammed on trades and let you anticipate a fruit's value before selling it. No serious trader goes without them.
Join the official Discord. That's where new codes drop first, often during admin abuse phases. Aggregator sites, even the best ones, are always 30 minutes to 2 hours behind.
Finally, never underestimate a strawberry cycle: it's the working capital that makes all your other investments possible, and the best safety net if a bet on a mutation goes wrong. Happy gardening, and above all: redeem your four active codes before doing anything else.
