Forza Horizon 6: where to find the radio towers

In brief

Forza Horizon 6's radio towers are locked on Legends Island, accessible only with the gold bracelet (Horizon Legend status at 32,500 points). Once there, follow the main road of the Cross Country Circuit east, then north: the two towers are on the left at the next bend.

The radio towers in Forza Horizon 6 are among the discoveries that frustrate quite a few players - not because they're hidden, but because they're locked behind a very specific progression gate. No point looking for them on the main map: you won't reach them without the right key.

Requirements: the gold wristband and Legends Island

The two red and white towers targeted by the discovery challenge are located on Legends Island, the small island to the east of the map, just off the coast from the Tokyo Docks. And this island is locked behind the gold wristband - the game's last event wristband, obtained by reaching Horizon Legend status at 32,500 points of progression in the Horizon Festival.

There's no shortcut through normal progression: races, events, XP Boards, anything helps to accumulate these points. If you don't have this status yet, your only alternative is to go through an EventLab - in the Creative Hub, look for a map set on Legends Island via "Play Event", and you'll be able to access it and trigger the discovery even without the wristband.

Route to the radio towers

Once on Legends Island, locate the Legends Island Cross Country Circuit on the map (the event is displayed in green). From there:

  • Follow the main road heading east.
  • At the intersection, turn north.
  • In the following bend, the two large radio towers are on your left.

Tip

No need to stop, get out of your car, or take a photo. The discovery validates automatically as soon as you drive near the towers - the banner appears on screen, and that's it.

Don't look to the west

Several players have wasted time around the towers near the festival in the Ohtani or Shimanoyama region. Those are real towers, but they don't count for this challenge. A Reddit thread attests to this:

" I spent quite a bit of time around the towers near the festival on the Ohtani/Shimanoyama side, with no luck… until I finally reached the island. " - r/ForzaHorizon user

Frequently asked questions

How do you access Legends Island to find the radio towers?
You need to obtain the gold bracelet by reaching Horizon Legend status at 32,500 progression points in the Horizon Festival. Alternatively, use EventLab by searching for a map set on Legends Island to access it without the bracelet.
Where exactly are the two radio towers located on Legends Island?
From the Cross Country Circuit on Legends Island, follow the main road east, then turn north at the junction. The two red and white towers are on your left at the bend that follows.
Do you need to do anything special to validate the tower discovery?
No, the discovery is automatically validated as soon as you drive near the towers. The achievement banner appears on screen without needing a photo, a stop, or any additional action.
Why don't the towers near the festival (Ohtani/Shimanoyama) work?
These towers actually exist but don't count toward the discovery challenge. Only the two specific towers on Legends Island validate the progression.
