Hirosaki Castle Forza Horizon 6: completing the #CollecChâteau photo challenge
In brief
The #CollecChâteau photo challenge asks you to shoot a collector sports car in front of Hirosaki Castle in Forza Horizon 6. Located in the northeast of the Takashiro region, the castle is easily reached via the eponymous Speed Trap — after that, it's just a matter of finding the right angle and the right car to pocket 100 Discovery Points and progress through the Italian Exotics series.
The #CollecChâteau photo challenge arrives with the Italian Exotics winter era of Forza Horizon 6. The idea: photograph a collector sports car in front of Hirosaki Castle. Up for grabs are Season Points and an Epic White Suit outfit. Nothing complicated, but you still need to know where to point your camera.

Where to find Hirosaki Castle
The castle is located in the north-eastern part of the Takashiro region, on the Japan map. If you've unlocked the Pink Bracelet, the fastest way is to fast travel directly to the Speed Trap event at Hirosaki Castle. Once loaded, the castle appears clearly in the background.
From there, drive straight ahead, then turn right as soon as you see an elevated path. You should end up right in front of the building to frame the photo.

Which car to use
The challenge requires a collector sports car. Filter your garage by this category to spot eligible models. Three vehicles have been tested and confirmed to work for this challenge:
- Ford Capri RS3100 1973
- Nissan Fairlady Z 432 1969 (the one we used for the screenshots)
- Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R 1971 (obtainable for free in the Nangan region)
- Toyota Sports 800 1965
If you're struggling to unlock one of these cars, the Skyline is probably the most accessible since it's tied to your progression in discovering Japan, not an in-game purchase.

What you get
If this is the first time you've photographed Hirosaki Castle, you'll earn 100 Discovery Points.
Completing the #CollecChâteau challenge also brings you closer to two Winter cars from the Italian Exotics series:
- The Lancia 037 Stradale 1982, unlocked at 20 Season Points
- The Ferrari Roma 2020, unlocked at 40 Season Points
Two beautiful collector's pieces for a challenge that ultimately takes just a few minutes once you know the location.
If you're stuck on another challenge this week, particularly the treasure hunt in the Hokubu region, a dedicated guide exists to get you out of trouble.
