Diablo 4 Season 11 Unique Purified Essence: How to Use It
In brief
Diablo 4 Season 11 introduces Unique Purified Essences, valuable items dropped by Minor Demons. Their main use is to unlock the purified slots with Hadriel to access the eight Divine Blessings, but they can also be brought to four mysterious altars scattered across Sanctuary to trigger interactions whose effects remain to be discovered.
Diablo 4 Season 11 has introduced a new system centered around Unique Purified Essences, brand-new items that drop after defeating the Lesser Evils. It is essential to use these essences to unlock the purified slots dedicated to your Divine Blessings. Let's see how to use them effectively.

Using Unique Purified Essences
By collecting Unique Purified Essences from the remains of the Lesser Evils in Diablo 4, their first use, and probably the most essential, is to hand them over to Hadriel in order to unlock the purified slots required for the eight Divine Blessings of this season, slots that will act as boosts for your character.
Once all the locations are unlocked, you are able to keep collecting these essences for potential alternative uses. Four mysterious altars are scattered across Sanctuary, each tied to one of the four Lesser Evils, namely Andariel, Asmodan, Belial, and Duriel. By bringing the required Unique Purified Essence to its matching altar, the altar ignites.
Note
At the time of writing, interacting with these altars doesn't seem to trigger any immediate effect, which leaves us puzzled. Perhaps we need to find the Purified Essences in order to do something with all four altars and trigger a special event in Season 11. Alternatively, a required number of Essences might be needed for each of them. It's also possible that the answer lies in some mid-season content that Blizzard might add, but that seems less likely given how past seasons have worked.

Location of the Purified Essence Altars
To benefit from the Unique Purified Essences, you'll need to locate the four mysterious altars scattered across Sanctuary, each associated with its own Lesser Evil, and requiring the use of its matching essence.
The Altar of Lies is located at the Seat of the Heavens in the Fractured Peaks, and this is where you can use the Purified Eye of Belial. Nearby, you'll find the Altar of Sin located in the Umir Plateau in Hawezar, which requires the Purified Tongue of Asmodan.
For the other two altars, you'll need to stay in Kehjistan to find the Altar of Pain, where the Purified Horn of Duriel can be used. Finally, the Altar of Anguish must be found in the Seven Spires region in Nahantu, where the Purified Claw of Andariel will be used.
