Delta Force: six events start on August 14 — Ratty moves in, Fortune Supply Boxes and console anniversary

Team Jade rolled out an update on August 13 with no service interruption, and most of its content doesn't go live the same day: six events open on August 14. Some last four days, others run until September 7. As always with Delta Force, the trap isn't the difficulty, it's the calendar: two of these events close before the end of next week, and those are the ones that hand out treasure maps.

Here's what's opening, in the order you should tackle it.

The one closing fastest: "Ratty Moves In" (August 14 → 18)

It's the shortest one, and it's the one most players are going to discover too late.

The setup is unusual: log in on the first day to grab the event emote, "Sit". Then, Ratty has been spotted in three sectors — Layali Grove, Zero Dam, and Brakkesh — and you need to mimic his pose on the spot for a chance to get treasure maps.

In other words: the emote isn't a decorative cosmetic, it's the tool for the event. Without grabbing it on the first day, you've got nothing to do on the three maps. That's exactly the kind of dependency that costs a week's worth of rewards for anyone logging in the following Wednesday.

The announced reward is a Treasure Map Supply Selection Pack x3.

The most rewarding one over time: the Fortune Field Supply Box (August 14 → September 7)

Three and a half weeks, five zones, and one simple mechanic: during the event, search the Field Supply Boxes at Zero Dam, Layali Grove, Brakkesh, Space City and on AZ3 for a chance to find the matching map's treasure map. Search milestones then unlock rewards.

The key word is "matching". The treasure map you find is tied to the sector where you're searching. If you only play one zone — and many Operations players cycle through a maximum of two maps — you'll cap out on a single treasure map for three weeks. To get the most out of the event, you have to accept cycling through all five sectors, even the ones you're less comfortable with.

A method tip: Field Supply Boxes are search loot, not combat loot. In zones where you know you're weaker, drop in light, search, and extract. The event rewards searching, not kills.

The two "treasure map" tracks you shouldn't mix up

Team Jade is running two systems in parallel with very similar names, and it's easy to get them confused.

• Fortune Run (August 13 → September 7): the event shop has been stocked with 20 Treasure Map Supply Selection Packs. You earn event tokens by completing active missions, then exchange them in the shop.
• Treasure Map Giveaway (August 13 → 20): log in to receive 5 Treasure Map Supply Selection Packs, then complete in-match container search missions to earn tokens, exchangeable in the same shop.

The difference lies in the source of the tokens: active missions on one side, container search on the other. Both feed into the same shop, but the second closes on August 20 while the first runs until September 7. Priority, then, goes to the container search missions this week: that's the source that's about to expire.

Console side: the anniversary (August 14 → 23)

Console-only. Log in and complete event missions in Warfare or Operations to accumulate points and unlock milestone rewards.

The announced rewards are substantial: PKM General-Purpose Machine Gun — Operator x1 and Armory Voucher x9. Nine armory vouchers isn't just filler — it's enough to gear up for several Operations runs without touching your reserve.

Warfare: the chaos mode arrives

The Wacky Mystery Box Advanced Challenge runs from August 14 to 27, and it's the most unusual piece of the lot: random bonuses and items, and above all the debut of a random weapons chaos mode, backed by a mysterious item. Here too, logging in on the first day grants the Sit gesture.

Alongside it, Warfare's weekly routine refreshes on the 14th:

• Weekly Supply (August 14 → 20): simple matches grant an Advanced Weapon EXP Card, an Intermediate Weapon EXP Card and a Warfare EXP Multiplier Card (once).
• Expert's Choice (August 14 → 20): missions to complete with the SMG-45 and the M4A1, in exchange for weapon EXP tokens and armory vouchers.
• Final Score (August 14 → 20): your Warfare match scores can be exchanged for Quantum Keys and armory vouchers.
• Tekniq Alloy Shop (August 14 → 20): spend your Tekniq Alloy on Quantum Keys, armory vouchers and a 7-Day Access Key for the advanced vault.
• Weekend Merit Boost (August 15 → 16): Doubled Merit on your first three ranked matches only. Don't waste them on a lazy Saturday morning playthrough.

The August 19 date not to miss

One last event, offset from the rest: the Loving Gesture Giveaway, from August 19 to September 7. You need to build the Magpie Bridge using supplies extracted from your matches. On offer: HeartHands x1, Confession Spray Paint x3, Tactical Tea Break x1 and Peach Blessings x1.

The key word here is "extracted". Supplies picked up but then lost in a failed raid don't count. This event rewards successful extraction, not mere collection — it's the most punishing of the bunch for aggressive players.

And in the shop: the Maritime Glow draw

The Maritime Glow appearance draw returns from August 14 to September 12. Each pull grants rewards and advances a progress gauge; milestones unlock cosmetics from the Black Sea series, and 100% progress guarantees the Black Sea cosmetic. Each pull also has a chance of instantly reaching the maximum.

It's a system with a guaranteed floor, which makes it noticeably clearer than a pure gacha — but it's still a paid draw, and nothing in it affects gameplay. Treat it as cosmetic, not progression.

The priority order for the week

1. Today: log in to claim the Sit gesture. Without it, "Ratty Settles In" is unreachable and you lose three Selection Packs.
2. By August 18: head to Layali Grove, Zero Dam, and Brakkesh to mimic Ratty's pose.
3. By August 20: run container-search missions back to back, as this is the token source that expires first.
4. This weekend: secure your first three placements from the 15th or 16th for Doubled Merit.
5. Over the month: cycle through the five sectors for Field Supply Crates, and hold on to your extracted supplies starting on the 19th for the Magpie Bridge.
