Dead by Daylight: Aurora Stardotter Perks Explained
In brief
Aurora Stardotter brings three perks to Dead by Daylight from the Chorus of Sin chapter (August 2026). Blessed Sight: Unwavering reduces generator regression by 50% starting at level 1, making it a survivor must-pick. The other two perks work on stacking and team information logic, with important nuances that the official French sheet omits.
The Chorus of Sin chapter, released on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 with update 10.1.0 of Dead by Daylight, doesn't just bring a killer. It also brings Aurora Stardotter, and three perks, one of which — Blessing: Unbroken — halves generator regression speed within its range, a figure achieved right from the first tier.
We've covered the Judgment and the base game changes elsewhere. This guide focuses on the survivor's three perks, with the exact values from the official patch notes — and points out along the way what the store page leaves out about her best perk.
Every value below is quoted from Behaviour's 10.1.0 patch notes; the perk descriptions are cross-checked against the English Chorus of Sin store page.
Blessing: Unbroken — half as much regression within its range
Let's start with the one that carries the most weight in a match. Here's what it does, within the range of the blessed totem:
| Effect | Value |
|---|---|
| Generator regression | 50% slower |
| Survivors' repair speed | +8 / 9 / 10% depending on tier |
| Aura reading | Survivors within range see the aura of affected generators |
The key takeaway is in the right-hand column: the 50% slowdown doesn't depend on the tier. It's already there at level 1. What increases is the repair bonus — and by only two points between the first and third tiers. A level 1 perk that already delivers most of its maxed-out value is rare, and it changes the order in which you spend your bloodpoints.
One phrasing remains worth quoting without over-interpreting it. The patch notes describe the perk as follows: "Next to a totem, use 'E' to bless it, creating a unique Boon Totem that combines all of your Boons." Behaviour doesn't elaborate further, and the chapter store page does not carry this sentence: it only mentions the effect on generators. We're therefore reporting the wording as-is, without inferring any stacking rule the studio hasn't written down.
Three bugs fixed on this Boon right at launch
Notable fact: the 10.1.0 patch notes contain three entries dedicated to a perk released that very same day. They come from the Public Test Build, and they're worth knowing about because they describe, in a roundabout way, what the perk isn't supposed to do:
- Stalled generators would regress when under the effect of the Boon. Fixed.
- The repair speed bonus wouldn't apply when blessing the totem while a survivor was already repairing. Fixed — blessing mid-repair now works.
- The effect would stack when a generator was within range of two Boon Totems. Fixed: two Boons are no better than one on the same generator.
This third point is the one to remember for a team where several survivors run Boon perks: there's no point in doubling up totems around the same generator, since the gain doesn't stack.

Fruits of your labor: a perk that goes up, and never comes back down
The second perk works on tokens, with a generous stacking mechanic:
- You gain 1 token every time a generator is completed. The text doesn't say "by you": any generator completed by anyone counts.
- When you're the one who finishes a generator, each token grants you 5% Haste for 2 seconds and 10 / 15 / 20% healing progress.
The distinction between these two lines is what gives the perk its value. You passively accumulate while the team works, and you cash in the moment you personally complete a machine.
An example to make this concrete, at tier 3. Three generators have already popped and you finish the fourth: you start with 3 tokens earned, meaning 15% Haste for 2 seconds and 60% healing progress. The official text doesn't specify whether the token from the generator you just completed is counted in that same resolution — if it is, add a fourth tier. Either way, the conclusion holds: late in the match, completing a generator will nearly put you back on your feet.
The tactical takeaway is clear: save the last generator for yourself if you're injured. That's the only moment the perk pays off at full value.
Salvation's Cry: a perk that mostly informs others
The third is the one whose store-page summary is the most incomplete. Here is the full effect from the patch notes, which lists three lines where the store page summarizes just two.
As soon as the killer starts chasing you:
- You see the auras of other survivors for 1 / 2 / 3 seconds.
- Survivors who are not being chased see your aura for 5 seconds.
- Survivors who are not being chased see the killer's aura for 5 seconds.
The third line does not appear in the store-page summary, which only mentions "your two auras" being visible to others and the return view of teammates. Yet it's this line that makes the difference: your teammates don't just see you, they also see where the killer is.
Also note the asymmetry in durations. You, the one being chased, get 1 to 3 seconds of information depending on the tier. Others get 5, regardless of your tier. The perk is therefore more of a service to the team than a personal survival tool — worth knowing before bringing it into solo queue.
Two voice line fixes for Aurora
Two entries on the list concern her voice lines, and they were missing at the launch of the test server:
- Her lines when hooked weren't triggering.
- Nor were her lines on a failed skill check.
Both are fixed. This isn't a minor detail in a game where the sound of a hooked teammate serves as a positional cue.
What to make of it
- Bless near the generators that matter, not the first totem you come across: it only works within its range, and that's where regression is halved.
- Don't double up blessings around the same generator — the effect no longer stacks.
- Keep the last generator for yourself if you're running Fruits of Their Labor and you're injured.
- Bring Boon: Shadow Step in a team, not solo: it's your teammates who benefit the most from it.

Frequently asked questions
At which tier should you prioritize Blessed Sight: Unwavering?
Does stacking two blessings on the same generator double the effect?
Does Fruits of Your Labor count the generator I'm currently finishing?
Why is Cry of Salvation a team perk rather than a solo one?
Key takeaways
- Blessed Sight: Unwavering delivers its 50% slowdown right at tier 1, making further level investment less of a priority than for the other perks.
- Fruits of Your Labor passively stacks tokens every time any generator is completed by anyone, but only triggers its healing effect when you personally finish a generator.
- Cry of Salvation is above all a team tool: your teammates see not only you but the killer, and the info they receive (5 seconds) lasts longer than yours (1 to 3 seconds).
- Three bugs were fixed right at launch, notably the stacking of blessings on the same generator, which no longer works.
- The official French chapter sheet omits crucial details: the effect of the token for the generator you complete, and the fact that Cry of Salvation also reveals the killer to other survivors.
