AC Black Flag Resynced Skeleton Crew: how to get this skin

The Undead Crew is one of the most spectacular cosmetics in AC Black Flag Resynced: it transforms the entire Jackdaw crew into skeletons, Flying Dutchman style. It's bought from a hidden General Store, costs 206 bones, and requires a bit of grinding. Here's exactly how to go about it.

Finding the secret General Store

The store doesn't appear on the base map. Head to the Gibara region, at coordinates 550, 638. The island is unnamed - you won't miss it once you're there. Dock the Jackdaw, swim to shore, and head to the General Store in the center of the island. The Undead Crew is sold there directly, classified as a legendary cosmetic.

What it costs: 206 bones

This is where the grind begins. The cosmetic requires 206 bones, a resource obtained through hunting or by purchasing from the Treasure Merchant in Great Inagua. Two methods, two paces.

Method 1: hunting in Kingston

The town of Kingston, in the Navassa region (623, 172), is the best farming spot. Start with the Rabbit icon in the northwest section of the town, activate Eagle Vision to mark the animals, and follow a route through the forested area. One run yields between 10 and 15 bones.

• Rabbit: run over it and assassinate it, it's the easiest.
• Deer and monkey: pistol or Sleep Dart to make the shot easier.
• After a full run, fast travel to another region, wait about 30 minutes for the respawn, come back and start over.

Expect several hours at this pace to reach 206 bones. Efficient, but repetitive.

Method 2: buying bones with Reales

The Treasure Merchant in Great Inagua sells bones at 1,000 Reales each. For 206 bones, you'll therefore need 206,000 Reales. Before you can access this, make sure you've already restored the Tavern and the General Store on the island. That sounds like a lot, but naval battles make it achievable within a few hours.

Farming Reales: naval battles in the Navassa region

First, upgrade the Hull, Broadside Cannons, Mortar, and combat components of the Jackdaw to at least level 3. Then, head to the Navassa region, at the bottom right of the map. Use the Spyglass to identify the type of vessel before attacking.

• Frigate: yields ~3,300 Reales via the Captain's Chest.
• Man o' War: yields ~4,500 Reales via the Captain's Chest.

The principle: strip the ship's health with the Ram and the Mortar, board it, eliminate the crew, then systematically choose "Obtain the Captain's Chest" - never the other options if your goal is Reales. To take down the crew quickly after boarding, equip swords with 4 lethal takedowns maximum, or use pistols by recovering bullets from the corpses.

Let your Bounty gauge rise: it spawns bounty hunters in Frigates and Man O'War, which speeds up the spawn of profitable targets. No need to lower it if you're in pure farming mode. If the Jackdaw is out of HP, target a Schooner or a Brig and choose "Repair the Jackdaw" after boarding. And at the end of each session, sell your Trade Goods to any merchant to scrape together a few extra Reales.

Equipping the Deceased Crew

Once you have the 206 bones in your pocket and the cosmetic purchased, there are two ways to equip it: go through the Dockmaster or enter the Jackdaw's Captain's Cabin and customize the ship from that spot. The effect applies immediately to the entire crew, including recruits hired at Great Inagua. Everyone in bones, no exceptions.
