In brief

Caramel Cotton Candy is obtained from the Pal Woolipop Terra by capturing it or knocking it out on Sucrest Islet. This ingredient is essential for preparing a Special Cake that boosts passive skill inheritance when breeding your Pals.

Caramel Cotton Candy is a cooking ingredient obtained from the Pal Woolipop Terra in Palworld. It's mainly used to prepare a Special Cake, very useful for your breeding. Good news: it's not hard to get. Here's how.

How to get Caramel Cotton Candy

Two methods are available to you once a Woolipop Terra is spotted: defeat it or capture it.

By taking it down, it drops Caramel Cotton Candy - one to two units each time. The Pal isn't tough: a few powerful attacks are enough, and the area attack of a strong Pal from your team can even wipe out a whole group at once.

Capturing is the gentler alternative and, above all, more profitable in the long run. Be careful though: in mid or late game, with overpowered weapons and Pals, you risk killing it in one hit. To avoid this, equip the Ring of Mercy or bring along a Pal with the passive that spares the target: that way you can keep the Woolipop Terra alive for the sphere.

Tip

Once you've captured several Woolipop Terra, bring them back to base and assign them to a Farm. They'll wander around there producing Caramel Cotton Candy passively, without you having to go hunting again.

Where to capture Woolipop Terra

Woolipop Terra are mainly found on a small islet called Sucrest Islet, located west of the Moonflower Society Tower. You can reach it with a swimming Pal or a flying Pal. The island is home to other Pals, but you'll find plenty of Woolipop Terra there to capture and bring back to camp.

Good to know

Capturing five of them rewards you with a Mimog Statue.

What Caramel Cotton Candy is used for

Caramel Cotton Candy is one of the ingredients for the Special Cake, a recipe unlocked at Technology Level 74.

This cake has a very specific role: place it in the chest of a Breeding Farm to increase the chances that offspring inherit their parents' passive skills. It's therefore a valuable tool if you're looking to create the perfect Pal through breeding, passing on the best passives from generation to generation.
