The Pumpkin and the Princess Disney Dreamlight Valley: Complete Guide
In brief
Cinderella has finally arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley via the "The Pumpkin and the Princess" quest. This complete guide walks you through every step to recover the glass slipper, craft the Wish-Granting Enchantment, plant and find the enchanted pumpkin, build her house, and finally free her from her enchantment.
Cinderella is finally available in Disney Dreamlight Valley, through the quest “The Pumpkin and the Princess”, and this guide will walk you through it step by step so you can bring her into your community.
"The enchanted pumpkin mysteriously disappeared while it was still growing"
Start the quest for the lost slipper
To begin this beautiful adventure, you'll first need to find Cinderella's famous glass slipper. Once you have it in your possession, head straight to Fairy Godmother's place. You can go directly to her pumpkin house to talk about what comes next.
Fairy Godmother then explains that a special enchantment will be needed to bring Cinderella back to the valley. This kicks off a series of trials in which you'll need all your gardening and exploring skills.

Gather the ingredients and craft the Wish Enchantment
To make the Wish Enchantment, you need to obtain:
- Five Ginger: these plants grow naturally in the Forgotten Lands biome
- Five Currants: to be picked from currant bushes in the Frosted Heights (two) and the Forgotten Lands (four)
- An Orange Nasturtium: this fragile flower is found in the wild, mainly in the Forgotten Lands
- A Diamond: to be dug up from rock deposits in the Forgotten Lands
With all the ingredients in hand, head to any crafting station in the valley; open the "Potions & Enchantments" tab to find and craft the Wish Enchantment recipe.

Use the enchantment on your watering can and plant the Little Enchanted Pumpkin
After crafting the Wish Enchantment, open your bag, select the potion, then choose "Use" to apply it to your Royal Watering Can. Upgrading your equipment will be essential to grow the Enchanted Pumpkin. Then head back to Fairy Godmother's place.
Now that you have your upgraded Watering Can, go out into the valley to plant the Little Enchanted Pumpkin. At the spot of your choice, use your Royal Shovel to dig a hole in the ground and plant the Little Enchanted Pumpkin there. Using your new enchanted Royal Watering Can, water the Enchanted Pumpkin and wait 15 minutes for it to finish growing. When vines appear around it, interact with the pumpkin to harvest the enchanted pumpkin.

Find the missing Enchanted Pumpkin and go see Remy
Surprise! The Enchanted Pumpkin has mysteriously disappeared while it was in the middle of growing. Go back to see Fairy Godmother to inform her of this unexpected situation. Fairy Godmother explains that the precious pumpkin was probably taken by the chef at Chez Rémy, as he thought it was just a vegetable... What a blunderer that Rémy is!
You head to Chez Rémy to question the little chef, who did indeed take your pumpkin, mistaking it for an ordinary vegetable. Get it back, then go back to Fairy Godmother.

Placing Cinderella's house in the valley
It's time to set up a house for Cinderella. Open your inventory, click on the Furniture tab, choose Fairy Godmother's quest icon, and place Cinderella's house wherever you like in your valley.
Once you've chosen the right spot, approach and tap the Scrooge McDuck sign in front of you to spend 15,000 Star Coins and have the house built.

Freeing Cinderella from the enchantment
To complete Cinderella's return to the Valley, you need to place the Enchanted Pumpkin next to the wishing well in the middle of the Plaza, then decorate the surrounding area with eight refined pieces of furniture in yellow and blue colors.
These decorations and the enchanted pumpkin must be placed very close to the Plaza. If it's already well decorated, you may need to remove some elements to finish. Once done, tap the Enchanted Pumpkin to free Cinderella from her enchantment.
Say a final word to Fairy Godmother to close out this quest, and welcome Cinderella as a new resident of your enchanted valley. The quest "Cinderella's Personal Customization" now awaits you!
