In brief

The Greek Urn is Hercules's level 2 friendship quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. After breaking Phil's urn, you must retrieve the pieces, craft restoration glue, solve a repair puzzle, collect colored gems to decorate the urn, then place it in the valley.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, the level two friendship quest with Hercules, The Greek Urn, can be quite confusing. Here is a detailed guide to help you complete it.

Start of The Greek Urn quest

Go talk to Hercules, he will tell you about a fragile vase belonging to Phil that he must go fetch at the Dream Castle. But as he tries to lift it, Hercules drops the urn and breaks it... And there, disaster strikes!

You will need to collect the eight pieces of the urn lying on the ground in the Castle, then Mirabel will be able to tell you how to repair the urn.

Crafting the restoration glue

Mirabel informs you that there is a special glue, restoration glue. To craft it, you need to gather:

  • 15 units of clay (found in grassy areas such as the Peaceful Meadow, the Forest of Valor and the Plaza)
  • 2 units of seaweed (which you will need to fish from the open waters of the valley)
  • 2 eggs (which can be bought from Remy)

Then head to your crafting table to make it. Then go back to Hercules and Phil to ask them to help you set up your workspace for the repair.

The Greek urn puzzle

Head to Phil's place and interact with the workbench to repair the urn. Once the puzzle is completed, go back to see Hercules and Phil. Phil is not entirely satisfied because of the traces of the cracks on the urn. Hercules then comes up with an original idea: instead of hiding the flaws, why not highlight them instead?

Gathering the gems

You need to gather gems of various colors:

Red gems

  • Garnet: Peaceful Meadow, Plaza
  • Ruby: Sunlit Plateau and Mythopia
  • Spinel: Trust Bayou

Yellow gems

  • Citrine: Sunlit Plateau and Trust Bayou
  • Topaz: Plaza, Ancient Port, Bookbinding

Blue gems

  • Aquamarine: Enchanted Shore and Forest of Valor
  • Blue Zircon: Lagoon
  • Pure Ice: County of Counts
  • Sapphire: Vitalys Mines in the Sunlit Plateau

Note

Gems can be used in either normal or shiny version.

Returning to Hercules and finishing the urn

Once you have gathered the necessary gems, go back to Hercules to hand him the precious stones, which he will turn into pigments. Return to the workbench to spray the powder onto the repaired urn. To complete the quest, all you need to do is place the Greek urn outdoors, within the valley, in Furniture mode. Once you have found the right spot, go back to see Hercules and then Phil to conclude the quest.
