The Big Worry Disney Dreamlight Valley: Detailed Walkthrough

Inviting the villagers to the emergency meeting

At the start of the quest, Sadness confides in you that she has never organized a party. She wants to invite a few villagers to an emergency discussion to share their worries. Your first task is to summon five specific characters:

• Elsa, the Snow Queen
• WALL-E, the eco-friendly robot
• Beast, from the enchanted castle
• Remy, the chef
• Mickey

Note

Depending on the time of day, some of the characters may be asleep. In that case, you'll need to wait for them to wake up before going to get them. But don't worry, they'll all accept Sadness's proposal without hesitation!

Preparing the dishes for the meeting

After notifying all the guests, go back to Sadness to find out your next task, divided into two sub-tasks: preparing the food, and decorating. Let's start with the dishes to prepare, which are Margherita pizzas and gooseberry bubble tea.

To make these recipes, you'll need a few ingredients, namely:

Margherita pizza: tomato, cheese, wheat and a spice of your choice,

Gooseberry bubble tea: sugarcane, milk and gooseberries

Plan on about four of each ingredient so you don't have to make too many trips. Wheat can be found at Goofy's stall in the Peaceful Meadow, cheese and milk from Remy, tomatoes and sugarcane at the Sunlit Plateau... wait, at the Enchanted Beach, and gooseberries to collect in the Forgotten Lands. Spices are usually gathered in any biome, available from the start of the game.

Gathering materials for the decoration

Once the dishes have been cooked, you need to gather various materials to decorate the discussion space. Here are the required elements:

• 12 pieces of fabric
• 16 softwood
• 8 black passion lilies
• 4 purple bubble teas
• 4 Margherita pizzas

The drinks and pizzas from the previous step are already in your possession. For the tissue boxes, you'll also need 12 + 8 additional fibers, resources that are easy to access early in the game.

What will prove truly tricky to obtain is the fabric and the black passion lilies. For the fabric, you can get it directly from Kristoff's stall or grow it yourself on 60 cotton plants available at the Sunlit Plateau. The black passion lilies are mainly found in the Frosted Heights, but don't hesitate to also stop by Beast's flower stall, where flowers of this rare species are sometimes offered.

Growing the Big Worry

Once all the elements have been gathered, all you have to do is go back to Sadness to start the event. During this meeting, your residents will share their worries, and a strange blue orb will appear. It will simply be named "the Big Worry" and you'll be able to plant it to see what the result will be.

Once you have the Big Worry in your possession, simply dig a hole anywhere in your valley to plant this mysterious object. If you filled your watering can with a miracle growth elixir before watering the orb, you'll get an immediate result. If not, you'll need to wait about five minutes to see the orb's evolution, which will give birth to timid teddy bear buds, an essential element for what comes next.

Dispelling the sad rain clouds

The last step of this mission is to locate and dispel sad rain clouds found in different regions of your valley. These clouds are spread across these five biomes:

• The Plaza
• The Peaceful Meadow
• The Enchanted Beach
• The Forest of Valor
• The Frosted Heights

These clouds resemble those present during the "Adverse Showers" quest. In the forest and around the Peaceful Meadow, these clouds are particularly present, while a few are visible in the three other biomes mentioned. To dispel them, simply water them. Once the 12 clouds have been spotted and dispelled, returning to Sadness will mark the end of this moving quest, before moving on to Joy's final quest.
