In brief

Terraprisma is one of the three legendary swords from the Terraria collaboration in Palworld. Its crafting blueprint is randomly obtained from one of two chests at the end of the Terraria dungeon, located on the volcanic island west of the Palpagos Archipelago. Once in hand, this spectral weapon capable of generating up to nine ghost blades becomes a formidable asset for late-game fights.

Terraprisma is one of three legendary swords from the Terraria collaboration in Palworld. Like its two counterparts, its crafting schematic is randomly obtained from one of the two chests waiting at the end of the Terraria dungeon. The drop isn't guaranteed, but the odds of walking away with it are pretty decent. Here's how to get your hands on it and craft it.

Where to find the Terraprisma schematic

The schematic can only be found at the end of the Terraria Dungeon, tucked away on the volcanic island west of the Palpagos Archipelago, off its southeastern coast. To get there, head to the Fisherman's Village fast travel point, southeast of Mount Obsidian, then make your way to the island facing it. The dungeon is accessible at any time, but you'd better be at least level 45 before venturing in.

Note

Its layout can be confusing: several treasure rooms are actually dead ends, and without a map, you can easily get lost. The good news is that the layout is fixed. The more you run it, the more the right path will stick in your memory.

Defeating the boss and opening the chests

A giant Eye of Cthulhu awaits you at the end of the dungeon. It mainly attacks by charging its whole body at you: riding a mount makes dodging much easier. Note that this boss is capturable, if the idea of having a giant floating eye in your team appeals to you.

Once the boss is down, head to the teleporter room right after the arena and open the two chests. With a bit of luck, a Terraprisma schematic will drop. If not, run the dungeon again. Allow about three minutes for it to fully reset: if you go back before that time is up, no new loot will appear.

Stats and crafting costs

The quantities depend on the rarity of the schematic obtained. For an Epic version, you'll need:

  • 240 Sacred Ingots
  • 120 Paluminum Ingots
  • 10 Ancient Civilization Parts

A Legendary version will require even more. Sacred Ingots are harvested by defeating monsters and looting the dungeon's chests. Paluminum Ingots are crafted using Ore, Pure Quartz, and Paldium Fragments. Finally, Ancient Civilization Parts drop from Alpha Pals and dungeon bosses.

How Terraprisma works

Terraprisma is similar to the Rocket Launcher, but with real cutting edge to boot: every sword swing summons a spectral sword that strikes nearby enemies. You can keep up to nine active at once. These blades apply a lifesteal effect, remain in combat even if you switch weapons or mount a Pal, are compatible with the Ring of Mercy, and can coexist with the Rocket Launcher's drones, as long as the total doesn't exceed nine.

Frequently asked questions

Where exactly is the Terraria dungeon located in Palworld?
It's nestled on the volcanic island west of the Palpagos Archipelago. Head to the Fisherman's Village fast travel point (southeast of Mount Obsidian) and cross over to the island facing it. It's not far, but you shouldn't miss it.
Is the Terraprisma blueprint guaranteed on the first run through the dungeon?
No, it's random. Two chests await you after the boss: one of them might contain the blueprint, but there's no certainty. The odds remain decent though, so don't be too reluctant to redo the run.
Is the Eye of Cthulhu really hard to beat?
Not if you're level 45+ and you use a mount to dodge its charges. It's mostly about dodging, not a real difficulty wall. And bonus: you can even capture it if you fancy having a giant floating eye in your team.
What should I do if I can't wait for the materials to craft Terraprisma right away?
Sacred Ingots and Ancient Civilization Fragments drop from fights and bosses in the dungeon. Paldium Ingots are crafted with Ore, Pure Quartz, and Paldium Fragments. Farming the dungeon about ten times is usually enough.
How does Terraprisma work in combat?
Each sword strike generates a spectral blade that hits nearby enemies. You can maintain up to nine at once. They steal life, stay active even if you switch weapons, and coexist with the drones from the Drone Launcher as long as the total doesn't exceed nine.

Key takeaways

  • The blueprint can only be found at the heart of the Terraria dungeon, no shortcut is possible.
  • Minimum level 45 is recommended to avoid getting wrecked by the Eye of Cthulhu.
  • Terraprisma generates spectral swords that steal life from enemies and persist even if you switch weapons.
  • The dungeon resets in three minutes: no instant reset if you fail the drop.
  • An Epic version requires 240 Sacred Ingots, 120 Paldium Ingots, and 10 Ancient Civilization Fragments.
